We had BBQ on wheels cater my wedding on 9/23/23. The food was absolutely outstanding! Everyone was complimenting it. It was the most hands free easy going catering service I have ever worked with. We did the pig roast with the Oktoberfest menu and holy moly was that food good! They came on time, set everything up, food was out right on time, packed all the leftovers and cleaned up. I had about 110 people there and there was so much food leftover for my guests to take home. Communication was on point and anytime I had a question or needed to change something, they responded right away. I will definitely be using them again when I need catering next!

Had hired BBQ On Wheels for our first ever family reunion. Their online menus were vast. And their pricing was clear. They answered all of my questions and they were easy to schedule with a small deposit. Throughout the process, they remained in contact with me to ensure that we were going to get everything that we needed and knew what to expect.On the day of the event, the Chef arrived ahead of the stated time with this grill in tow. The Chef was friendly and incredibly helpful. He not only set up the area for his own service, he helped us set up the tables for the rest of our event.The BBQ ribs (sauced and dry rubbed), chicken breasts and hamburgers that we'd ordered, along with roasted vegetables and fresh watermelon were all served on time. The corn on the cob, was served after most everyone had finished eating. Once everyone had had their fill, clean up was quick and thorough.All in all, we were very glad to have had BBQ On Wheels on hand to provide lunch for our event. The only reason that I'm withholding a fifth star, is due to the tardiness of the corn. And, although the ribs were good, they were more dry than tender (in conflict of my expectation from a business named "BBQ On Wheels").I would hire them again.

The Institute for Continued Learning at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, ICLRU, was treated to a worry-free feast. The chef and staff arrived on time and the delicious fare was ready to serve right on time. Set up and clean up was provided and attendees could relax and visit with both old and new friends. We were so happy with BBQ on Wheels and would highly recommend them. BTW, the potato salad was to die for!

We, including our guests, were in awe of how precise the entire process ran. Mark was phenomenal in his explanation of how things would proceed and he was 100% on every word! Our guests commented on how they had never tasted such incredible barbecue and many had multiple servings. When asked how we had selected BBQ On Wheels, I replied "they had great reviews online" which left our guests speechless that we selected a catering company without experiencing any prior tastings. From my initial inquiry, Sara was extremely accommodating and answered my many questions regarding the vast menu and package options. The day of our event, Mark and Renee, the "Dynamic Duo" - set everything up, chatted with "inquisitive guests" and even let them take photos while the pig roasted and was carved. At serving time, Mark explained the food options and Renee kept the line moving while maintaining quantities for our guests. Clean up was completed in no time and you'd never know a pig was roasted in our driveway after they pulled away.We look forward to another occasion when we need to hire a caterer! The quality of food and level of customer service (inquiry, booking, confirming and day of) was top shelf, and the price point for ALL we received was extremely reasonable! Overall, our experience was EXTRAORDINARY!A Special Shoutout to Mark and Renee for being so accommodating and for managing the meal portion of our party as if they were hosting their own family gathering!Definitely a Five PLUS Star rating from us!

I hired BBQ on Wheels to cater our 4th of July event at work and was just blown away by their food and service! We had about 300 employees to feed and they set it up so that the line moved fast and people had their food quickly. I had a lot of compliments about how great everything tasted, especially the mac and cheese. All the leftovers were wrapped up nicely for us and brought inside. Great staff & great BBQ! Can't wait to use them again for future events. They really were fantastic!

We had BBQ on Wheels cater our daughter’s graduation party in June of 2021 and our son’s in June of 2023. Both times crew members, Vidal & Brendan, did the setup, cooking, and service. Vidal & Brendan were incredible both times. They were punctual, courteous, professional, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We had about 60 guests each time and everyone raved about the food and about Vidal & Brendan. I could not be more pleased with BBQ on Wheels!

We held a 70th Birthday Party at a brewery in Lake Villa, that needed catering. Not having used BBQ On Wheels before, it was a bit unnerving to turn over such a momentum occasion to those unproven. However, there was no need for the fretting. I was beside myself with joy at the seamlessness of how everything turned out with Sara's help over the phone/email and the grilling expertise of Jesus, on site. What a great guy, Jesus was polite, helpful and courteous. The happy smiling face of my brother-in-law was a huge bonus ! Everyone loved the food so much, even the aroma so much so, that several people at the brewery asked for business cards !

Amazing food and amazing service. We had BBQ on Wheels for our small outdoor wedding for a small group of around 20 people. Plenty of food and everything was delicious. We went with the pig roast and beef brisket and all of it was amazing. All of our guests absolutely loved the food too. Thank you to the chef for preparing amazing food for our special day.

Wow the real deal. We had a backyard party with 50 people for our son’s “local” wedding reception, and it was so easy from start to finish. Everybody raved about the barbecue. We’re talking people from Chicago, Nashville, North Carolina, Texas - people who know BBQ. Everyone thought it was among the best they’ve had. We had the “Southern BBQ”- pulled pork, beef brisket, bone in chicken, corn, bbq beans, slaw, hot dogs for kids. The pulled pork was spot on. The brisket was the best. The chicken was beautifully done, would ask to cut it into eighths not quarters next time. Way more food than we really needed, excellent leftovers to send home with friends to enjoy for days. Incredible value. The chef Armando was wonderful and came out exactly on time and worked for hours cooking the barbecue, asked us exactly how we wanted everything done, did a beautiful job setting up the food tables, and made sure everybody was happy. Communication was excellent. Everything was exactly as described and better than we thought it would be. 100% recommend and would use again. Will use again!
