Food and portions were excellent. Very run down decor/interior vs. my last visit 20 years ago - which makes sense, but could use an update.

Not only was the food bland this evening, they charged 20% automatic gratuity. When I went to discuss with the manager he walked away, the server claimed on any order over $50 which is Illiegal in Illinois AND not clearly notified in the establishment or online line. Such a shame as we were about to leave 25% cash tip at the table for the server. The food & atmosphere has been going down hill for the past few years. NOT WORTH THE DRIVE for mediocre food, obnoxious loud music and today the strong fish smell from the sushi bar was a huge disappointment. Last time theyโ€™ll get a dime from me!

I havenโ€™t been to Jurin for a very long time. Last night we went to celebrate my birthday and it was even better than I remember. We are for sure going to make it one of our more regular restaurants. Great prices. you get a lot of food and it is all delicious. Because it was my birthday we received a beautifully displayed dessert and a gift certificate. What an amazing way to celebrate!!! Jurin is the absolute best hibachi experience!

This is one of my favorite takeout places. The food is always good and I'm always greeted with a smile. Me and my wife have been ordering take since we first started dating and I don't see it ending anytime soon (the relationship and us ordering takeout). Food is reasonably priced and I hope anyone reading this review will give it a shot!

Went with a group. First time and last.
To be fair the others would rate higher.
For me, I am not a fish eater. The menu is very fish heavy. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken.
This is the type of place the chef cooks your meal at your table. Somewhat interesting but no special show. My chicken breast turned out over cooked and dry. The fried rice was okay. The noodles not to my liking. $$ was actually reasonable. Service was good. The tables/counters are old and show wear and cracks.
Again to be fair, this is just not my kind of food so my ratings reflect that. Everyone else was into fish and I heard no complaints.

They have hibachi grill seating and a few seats around a sushi conveyor. Food was excellent. Delicious and fresh. I want to go back already!

Amazing food, great staff. And they have a conveyer belt of sushi! The Udon was very good too, definitely worth a visit.

This place was alright years ago. Now it's a hard pass. Service was the issue. It was pretty bad. Communication issues. Didn't get items we ordered, glad I caught that as I see other reviewers mention they were still charged for missing food. The fish was fishy. So that tells me it's not fresh. Rolls are tiny!

We did not get all of our food and we still got charged for the food and we a had to ask 9 times to get our food and there was water coming from the ceiling and it was dripping on my momโ€™s food.

This use to be the place when they first opened. The had lines out the door every night.
Now itโ€™s just a shell of its former self. The place is filthy. Service is bad. Food is rough.
Went in there Saturday night and if theyโ€™re really intent on closing at 9, maybe they need to cut the kitchen off at 7:30.
The sushi bar was empty except for a few items at 8, I had to spit out the food it was so bad.
The service was very rushed, meanwhile the hibachi tables were treated well.
I guess nothing last forever, time to find a new place.
