Listen. I’m normally big on tipping but after today, we were highly disappointed. The service was way below average. Not even the manager checked in on us. Our waitress disappeared while we were waiting for our check. We waited almost half an hour until we had to go to the hostess and ask for our check. Our bill was not small either, we were a group of 5. I cannot say if we will be back again and no, it wasn’t busy.

Went in there to have dinner for my birthday and to my surprise, they had banda playing live music! They played "las mañanitas for all of us that were there celebrating our birthday and our server surprised me with a birthday cheesecake slice. We ordered some langostinos for dinner and they were amazing! Our server was very attentive and overall there was good atmosphere.The ONLY thing we were surprised was when the bill came, $13 for the birthday cheesecake slice, but this was compensated with the experience. So worth the 45min drive.

I dared to visit the restaurant because of the seafood. Unfortunately, the waitress who served us with terrible service did not meet my expectations. The worst part was that our table was the only one in the restaurant. We asked for water, which did not arrive. We wanted more drinks. and he didn't come to see us... the last straw was that the tip was included, I'm a waitress anyway and I know you leave a tip but the service was terrible that it wasn't worth it, 4 adults and 1 child and we ended up paying around $400

So, this place is really not the best. At least the food part. We don't drink alcoholic beverages but they have 4 pages of alcohol mix drinks and micheladas. If you're going to drink then this is your place but the food was not great. We're not from the Elgin part of town so this was the only seafood place in that part of town which make sense of why their prices are so high.

The food is very spicy and salty that you can't eat and they still bring you Valentina sauce and to finish it on a barbecue they put the leftover shrimp sauce on the meat in a medium thermos very bad experience

Nancy was our server. She was not attentive. We had to get up to get our drinks. She would never ask us how we were doing if we needed anything. Currently waiting for my check to be picked up for payment and our server is sitting at the bar. They still ask for 15% gratuity for this horrible service. Not to mention she couldn't memorize or write out order down. He had to come ask multiple times. My food was also cold. The ceviche smelled so bad and tasted horrible.
