I had a really enjoyable meal. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe, and the menu offers a great variety of Thai and Lao favorites. We started with the spring rolls, which were fresh, crisp, and served with a tasty dipping sauce .The drunken noodles were a standout—packed with flavor, slightly spicy, and perfectly balanced with veggies and noodles cooked freshly.
Another highlight was the papaya salad. It was refreshing, and tangy.
Honestly, it was one of the best papaya salads I’ve had in a while. The Panang curry with tofu was creamy and aromatic, a comforting dish that paired beautifully with steamed rice. The tofu soaked up the curry flavors nicely, making every bite delicious.
I ordered a cold Thai tea, which was sweet, smooth, and refreshing—perfect alongside the spicier dishes. Overall, the food was flavorful, portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. It’s definitely a spot worth visiting , with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options.
I Just had the green curry with chicken last night as a family member treated me to take out as we got together to watch a football game on tv. I was blown away. Absolutely delicious and unique. I will be adding lao and spicy noodle to my list of restaurants. Highly recommend.

I will cry profusely if this place closes. Only certain people know how to make laap and these guys absolutely killed it. It’s so hard to find restaurants that make it in general. One of my favorite dishes of all time. I grew up eating beef laap and only ever had chicken occasionally. We could never get ours to taste as good as this one. I’ve also tried the pork laap- never had it with pork before that, but my god it is so amazing. I had it medium spicy this time, but will probably get it spicier next time. I drove an hour and a half total to get takeout here. Worth every minute. Thank you so much Lao and Thai Spicy noodle

We ordered pho traditional Lao and Nam Khao. The pho was OK. The Nam Khao is crispy rice ball, sour pork and a lot peanuts. I didn't quite like it because the crispy rice was too hard to chew. If you don't have good teeth and chin muscles, try to avoid this dish.

This place must be under new management. Bad service. Served the salad without dressing and took a long time before the server informed me that my order wasn't available and offered the menu again but I was so hungry and disappointed & just asked for my check, paid & left. I will not go back there anymore!
The food is delicious! Reminds me of when I lived / worked in Thailand years ago. Quite authentic flavors!

Ordered pad se ew and drunken noodles. In past loved this place. We used to order take out weekly but last couple of times have been disappointing. Pad se ew was flavorless and consisted of mainly tough stems with a small amount of peppers. The drunken noodles had some flavor but was overflowing with onions yet missing baby corn. And while not surprising, the portions are smaller (new smaller containers) and the prices higher. By comparison, we now recommend Thai corner in st Charles.

Excellent food and service at a great price point. The Pad Thai and Red Curry were generously portioned with the use of a dry mild tasting fish sauce. Thank you for the very pleasant experience Jeff & Joiwoo!

Their pad thai is beyond delicious and can be made vegan friendly!
First time at Laos Thai. Pretty good experience. We ordered the spring rolls, they were delicious. I'm a pad Thai kind of girl so I ordered a beef pad Thai. The menu states that one order is good for two people which is not true. I was still a bit hungry after sharing.. They offer heat from 0-10, so we went with a 5. It wasn't hot at all. I think that they didn't add any. But overall, service is friendly, food arrived fast and the prices are reasonable. Would recommended. ☺️
