So they had a special $10 gift card if you bought a $50 gift card so I did. Went to restaurant to order no Chipotle sauce literally 3 sandwiches come with it kept asking for different one no can do no Chipotle sauce had to ask what can replacevit they weren't sure. I finally ordered anyway no sauce went to use gift card invalid 4 times trying manager came it went thru. My wife has panera rewards tried using it no rewards although her web page showed it called manager oh lady was doing it wrong. What a bad experience. Will never be back to the South Elgin branch. Place also looks in need of cleaning everything looks ugly even where you put your silverware stacked high. Disgusting atmosphere. Good luck folks

We haven't been for awhile and decided to go with a gift card. The gift card was denied. They had no Chipotle and 3 sandwiches come with it. The tea dispenser didn't work. I had the fuji apple chicken and the chicken was awful. I did read that the salad has changed and believe it was the chicken. It had no flavor what so ever. I have no choice to use our gift card and will never be back..

For the second time now this location has taken over an hour to deliver a soup and sandwich. Ridiculous. Current estimate on receiving my order will put it 2 hours from when I ordered. My driver said the restaurant was “experiencing delays”. I won’t order from here again. Never had this issue with any other Panera.

I literally paid 7 dollars for a half sandwich that resembles poorly made cafeteria food. Barely any chicken or toppings… so I basically paid for bread. Do better.

I was picking up my De-car coffee as a Panera member…. And they didn’t have any fresh coffee…but the young lady said…would you like me to make you a fresh pot!! I said, of course!! Thank U! That’s what I like about Panera and great service! Even if this is not the regular location I come too!! Thank

Let's Start with Food: Soups are great. The pick two menu offers a bunch of great combinations of soup and sandwiches. Love the Frantega Chicken.Service: is mostly friendly, but if you are visiting towards the closing time period, the staff looks pretty tired.. I guess for obvious reasons.Atmosphere: Definitely 5 stars. Photos will speak for it.

We had some gift certs to use. so although we rarely go out for lunch, we decided to go to Panera in South Elgin. Great experience. Our cashier (guide really) Athena, was able to answer our questions about the menu and was so patient with our slow decisions. The food was excellent, including the pastries which we enjoyed with breakfast this morning. With or without gift certs, we'll go back.
Could not understand clerk and seemed like she could not understand me. My order was wrong and I got a dirty spoon for my soup. Hubby ordered deli turkey. Got 2 TINY pieces of bread, sandwich fell apart and he got w TINY pieces of turkey. We both got the squash soup. It was totally flat, no flavor at all.

My Go-To Panera bread! Such friendly staff, the place is always clean, and their speed is incredible— with the perfect quality everytime. Not to mention their food is delicious! Good for a healthier or warm meal.

I tried to order a cold brew with no added syrups, but the girl behind the counter said that she can't order that. She said that I should just get an iced coffee. Wwwhhhaat!!!?? And everyone the store had their coats on. It was freezing in there.
