Randall's Pancake House

hi, this place was so wildly busy on a Sunday, I thought it would've made for a wonderful lunch choice for me and the family. It seems like being busy makes you freak out worse than Orion Kirkberg from the Phillies and throwing that ground ball over the catchers head. If you like full tomatoes put in your chicken sandwich to where when you take a bite, everything slips out onto your plate and makes a huge mess, come down to Randalls! Have you ever been a fan of ordering a specific meal and not getting anything that you ordered… Come down to Randalls! Do you thrive on the idea of coming into a place you made an online order with and have them say, what did you order? We never took down a name. We need to go in the back and see if anything exists… Then please, come on down to Randalls! And who doesn't love themselves a batch of soggy, and somehow wet onion rings? If you love a terrible taste in your mouth that will make you second-guess every decision in your life… Then come on down to Randalls!

Nice atmosphere here the food is really good and nice servings here. We got the steak and eggs with French toast all was good and took rest home for later.🙂

When I walked in, I immediately felt right at home. The fall decorations are spot on. They took our order right away and wasted no time offering us coffee. I got the 1 Egg scrambled and it arrived within 10 minutes. It came with Bacon, Pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. The eggs were really good with the potatoes and the bacon had a nice flavor and was crunchy without being dry. The combo I got was $12 and it had elite value. If you’re ever in Elgin, this is the one of the Best places to go for breakfast, would come back.

We went to eat for my birthday today and had a party of four. It was not quite 2:00 and the restaurant closes at 3:00. We were rudely sat down by a waitress who told us to hurry up because the kitchen would be closing and he was already cleaning up. When we were not quite ready to order the first time she came she rolled her eyes and left the table and said she'd be back. Then somebody came out of the back and started vacuuming like they were closing in 5 minutes and it was just 2:00. We were rushed the entire time she came and took our dishes immediately when we were finished and said she had to hurry because the bus boy was leaving and it was only 2:35. We didn't have time to visit or enjoy our food and she was out the door before we got in our own car. And put the closed sign up. If a restaurant is open until 3:00 if someone came at 2:50 they should serve them still with the utmost respect and professionalism. If they wanted nobody to come after 2:00 they should make their hours 2:00. We would not return because of this and we should not have even had to pay for our meal. She was downright rude we could not visit due to the vacuum and we were basically told to leave by 2:35. I would not recommend this place at all!

Scrambled eggs were runny but the coffee was good. I requested crisp bacon and it came out wavy. I tried to dry the eggs out and then the manager guy insinuated that the eggs didn't look runny to him. Not the best experience. However, our server was wonderful.

The service was amazing right as me and my dad walked in the host was super nice and fast got seated really fast. Food was amazing big short stack good for price and I just loved it.

Great food and staff! Let our toddler walk around and we were able to follow and stay out of the way! Definitely going back!

Great place for Breakfast and Lunch. They can get busy, but they try hard not allow it to effect the service.

Waitress repeatedly forgets details about our order, e.g. pancakes instead of hashbrowns, extra soup or tomato juice, so it was really bad service. Unfortunately the food tasted very bland, more like convenience food. Sorry, this is too expensive for that.
