Riverside Pizza & Pub - South Elgin

Ordered dinner this evening at 3:45pm for a 5pm delivery. Left specific delivery instructions that were not followed. I called when it was 10 minutes late, and was put on hold for 5 minutes, only to learn that the food was “probably” on the way. Food was 20 minutes late. Asked for meat sauce with spaghetti, there was NO sauce. The garlic bread was so hard, couldn’t even bite in to it. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, received a COLD cheese pizza. The only thing correct was the gluten free pizza. Our home is only 9 minutes from this establishment. I would never recommend dining at this restaurant. The food quality is horrible and so is the service.

I haven’t eaten in yet but I’ve been inside a few times over the past weeks to pick up a pizza. I grew up in Chicago around many amazing mom and pop type of pizza places. This is by far the best pizza I’ve found since I’ve moved away. Since I’ve gone in to pick up the pizza, I have noticed it’s always busy but the staff is always friendly. I will eventually dine in. I just wanted to leave a review to let you know how amazing their pizza is. Definitely try this place, if you’re looking for authentic Chicago style delicious pizza.

Only ordered cheese pepperoni pizza , threw it out as soon as I tasted it. Got salad put in smelling chicken I threw out, waste of money. Never again, how horrible to rob people of money.

I went here with a coworker for lunch and when we arrived, it was pretty busy. We were told to seat ourselves wherever we wanted and warned it would be several minutes. There was only one server to handle all the tables, and apparently also the bar. Regardless, she was friendly and didn't appear flustered or overwhelmed. In terms of food, we tried the wings, which were huge, as well as being pretty tasty. My coworker got the meatball sub, which he seemed happy with and I had a thin crust pizza, which was really good. Overall, we were happy and will certainly be back again.

First time going and will be going back more! The wings are the best we’ve found in this area. Pizza was delicious as well.
They played the sound for the football game and had amazing specials too. Must try and go to if you haven’t!

A great informal place to go grab a pizza or spend time with friends. Stumbled upon this jem of a location by accident and definitely recommend it.

Who would ever thought a pot roast sandwich or pot roast Alfredo pasta would be good.Both concoctions are absolutely amazing.Tasty! No lie, it's a must try.

Great place, my husband and I come here a lot and we always have great service and good, hot food and the beer is very fresh. Prices are fair and we highly recommend this place!
