Loved all the things. The Mongolian + Rice and level 2 spicy was just the perfect level for me. Got a good lip burn going but was able to enjoy the flavor of the food. Absolutely adored the sauce served with the pot stickers.

This was our first time at Thai Town in Elgin. It’s a cute, cozy little restaurant with an authentic feel, and the service was very fast, which we appreciated. We tried the chicken Pad Thai and the beef Pad See Ew. Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with either dish. The Pad Thai was overwhelmed by sauce, masking the other flavors, and both meals left us feeling unusually tired afterward—possibly due to a heavy use of MSG. While the ambiance and service were great, the food just didn’t hit the mark for us.

BAD.
I Ordered pad woon sen with shrimp and shiu mai. There’s only 3 shrimp for $18, and all the shrimp smelled rotten. It smelled so bad when I opened it. I tasted it and it was so bad I had to throw it out. Disappointing in comparison to the other thai town in sycamore.
Good food and friendly people.

We ordered the shrimp cashew fried rice. The shrimp tasted and smelled like it was not cleaned.

This place was one of the WORST Thai places I have ever eaten for the first time! I ordered Basil Fried Rice with Jumbo Shrimp for a whopping $18.69!!!
First of all, the rice was soaked in some sort of oil when I opened the container I wanted to throw up. The rice was so damn soggy and stuck together like mashed potatoes. There was no taste or flavor, just wet, tasteless, soggy rice in some strange oil!! Wtf happened to the damn flavor? I specifically and very carefully explained to the non-English speaking order taker over the telephone how to prepare my dish. I asked her to repeat it back to me twice! PLEASE 🙏🏽 DO NOT waste your money, like I did at this place or you will be so sadly disappointed. I am so pissed off that I wasted my hard-earned money on this hole-in-a-wall establishment! Never again will I ever return! Damn! I should have canceled my order when I walked in the door and there were no customers in the restaurant nor did I smell the aroma of good-smelling food being prepared. Run, fast from this place! Save your coins 💰.

Food was fantastic and well portioned. The kitchen is ran by 2 little older ladies, so you know everything has to be good. Will definitely be back, but recommend take out.
