Aurelio's Pizza of South Holland

So today I go in after a long morning leaving my study room I decided to stop here to grab a quick slice since I hadn’t ate all morning. Grabbed a slice before going to do some shopping only to open the box take one bite and I discover a whole large stain of hair on top of the slice 🤮🤢 at that very moment my whole appetite gets disgusted. Who knows whose head this strain of hair could have come from is all I thought.
I decided to call in to speak with the manager about the situation. I ask is his cooks required to wear hair nets?? With no hesitation he tells me it’s not the law. I then tell him he may want to enforce it in the food industry as It is a FDA food code. I then explain to him upon opening my box of pizza I found a large strain of hair on my slice a pizza. He goes on to say bring it back in he would sure like to see it.
I return to this establishment this manager looks at the stain of hair and says I don’t have anyone here with that kind of hair.
VERY DISAPPOINTED😡 IN HIS RESPONSE AND HOW INCONSIDERATE HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS. AS IF HE COULD DETERMINE WHAT KIND OF HAIR THIS WAS OR THAT I WOULD JUST MAKE THIS STORY UP ABOUT A $4 SLICE OF PIZZA AND WASTE MY TIME AFTER A LONG DAY TO CALL AND BRING THIS TO HIS ATTENTION. PLEASE DO BETTER AS A MANAGER AND ENFORCE THINGS AS HAIR NETS SO THESE TYPE OF THINGS DON’T HAPPEN AN YOU THINK THAT YOU WOULD KNOW HOW TO DETERMINE WHERE OR HOW EVERY KIND OR STRAIN OF HAIR IN THE ESTABLISHMENT LOOKS LIKE. I ALSO LEFT A PICTURE BELOW FYI FOR YOUR REVIEW BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOUR DON’T CARE TO FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FDA FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. May wanna go get some training on your customer service as well because your response was very unprofessional and unacceptable.
Just in case you were insinuating it was my hair as I explained the pizza sat in my car while I shop and I came back out freshly opened and bit into the slice when I discovered the hair. I also had on a full hat with my hair fully covered when I arrived to pick up the slice and when I returned to return the slice for your review..

Pizza was a little salty, but still good. Female waiting on me was like a drill sergeant, she needs to be softer in speech, & needs to smile, just my observation. I will b back

Great little dinning spot! The appetizers were good and the pizza was great and prepared and served quickly. The dining room was empty to our surprise on a Friday night.

Live literally walking distance & visit every blue moon & they never fail me. Pizza (The works lil 6) & hot wings (well done) breaded with ranch (delicious) fresh & tasty. The young African American lady on tonight was great & the light skinned gentleman who carried out my balance. When I do visit they are all nice & well trained.

Perfectly serviceable restaurant. Nice staff. But the all vegetable pizza was a salt lick, guaranteed to raise blood pressure. Sadly inedible.

First time here at this location. I never realized one was so close to me I always went to other locations. I went in for a slice, I was in and out and pleasant customer service from staff. The sauce was a little on the salty side but other than that I enjoyed it and I'll be back!

Just arrived in Chicago and the kids and I were starving for some pizza and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful and the service was nothing but the best. Pizza was out of this word and most definitely hit the spot. Would recommend here to any and everyone!
