Was excited to have a Brown's close by as it's a favorite from my youth. The store and lot was clean and the staff was professional and helpful. The flavors that I was missing, was missing. I walked in and ordered 3 wings and a biscuit, didn't wait long but the chicken was bland.
I really was not going to review this place but ..., I came last week, got the special 10pc dark , the chicken look like it was cooked 3 days ago, the batter had all fallen off the chicken , very over cook , very dry, I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, TO SAY THE LEAST!, The chicken tenders was very good, also the bread sticks, but the fried chicken was NOT Brown's standard, I'm sorry to say,after spend a big chunk of money for what i purchased, 'I won't be back',...
We've been wanting to stop by here for a while and we finally did. I wanted to like the food so bad. Grew up with a Brown's Chicken blocks away and always ate it as a kid. One word: salt!!!!! The food tastes almost like I remember...just unseasoned. That would make a world of difference. Now...I really want them to do well and hope they get better but ya'll have got to do something about the cook. I actually saw him use his gloveless hands to pick up my chicken....
