The absolute worst Maxwell experience you can ever imagine.....the whole restaurant smelled funny, food was terrible, the Italian Beef taste like thin sliced cardboard, dry asl
Save your time and money!
I pretty much come here when requiring a morale lifting meal after a day if driving a truck.
The rib-tips are to die for. Perhaps my favorite BBQ sauce. Soft rarely bread. French fries are not too dry and yet not greasy—and tasty. The coslaw is enjoyable and it is without annoying salad dressings or other starting from the coslaw flavorings.
I generally get the attention of a worked when I want to make a purchase after my first one.

INFLATION has CAUGHT UP with this place. It won't be around in 2030 at this rate that's for sure... anywhere outside the big cities is in big trouble.
Ordered pizza puff, chili cheese fries and 6pc wing special. Everything was nice and hot. Pizza puff was good, chili cheese fries were good, chicken wings not so much. I want to say that the chicken wings were fried frozen but I wouldn't know because I never had fried frozen chicken wings before but there was something different about the chicken wings, I really didn't care too much for the chicken wings. The sister that works the register was such a sweetheart. The store needs a makeover (lots of unnecessary things just sitting around collecting dust) other than that I enjoyed the experience of it all.

#1, food is great, cheap and comes out fast. Even better service
Man if you don't know bout Maxwells you've probably never been to the hood, but you'd be doing yourself a horrible injustice if you don't go at least once in your life. The food is and always has been THE best period. YOU NEED TO GO THERE ASAP.

For breakfast I had the Philly steak omelette w/tomatoes added. Pancakes were great. I've also had their pizza puff/fries - excellent. Big portions, quick service and open 24 hours with breakfast served all day! I'll be back for more.

Classic Chicagoland Hot Dog Joint. All the greats are here. Polish very good. Excellent mustard. Very personable service. Manager treats patrons like friends. A Chicagoland institution.

The bread they put the polish in was so crazy. It was hard and nasty, I wish I had a picture. The fries were fresh, but I’d never get a Polish from there again. Might go back to try something else but DO NOT GET THE

I always go here but today, the owner was there and he was completely rude and disrespectful. He started yelling at me because I was correcting him on my order after I repeated it multiple times… he kept saying he knew what I was saying but had something totally different written on the paper. Then proceeded to say he yells back in his country when he gets frustrated and that he has been dealing with me for too long so deal with it or just leave.. I left because at that point I didn’t trust him or them other two workers with my food and they barely spoke english. I will not go back when he is there and that was my first time meeting him; worse first impression!
