This was a little off the beaten path but we'll worth looking for great atmosphere service was fantastic could not believe how fast food came waitress checked a couple times to see if we needed anything food was excellent!

I mean it's not a 5-star restaurant but the burger, the 7-layer salad, and the fritters were perfect! I mean perfect! Our server Cali was excellent as well. We didn't sit at the bar, but it looked very comfortable! We will be back!

I had the walleye special, my wife had the sweet chili burger. We started with pepper poppers and a couple of drinks. All was delicious, hot and flavorful. My wife especially loved the sweet potato tots!

It’s a great place to stop and eat. The food is great and the people who work there are also great. A couple days a week there’s a guy who does trivia there and the trivia is good and he can make some good jokes

My family and I were in town visiting for two weeks from Michigan. we were camping near by and decided to try Sheets Creek. we loved it so much that we ate here 6 more times in the two weeks we stayed in Illinois!! Their food was top notch! seriously, delicious. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and the staff was always nice and welcoming to my family and I. A few of our favorites were the chicken dinner, chicken tenders, taco night, artichoke dip and my personal favorite, corn fritters!! Thank you Sheets Creek!

First time visit,Over all the food was average. For the price below average. I had the Bluegill with Au gratin potatoes and green beans with Iced-tea. MY review: the Bluegill was deep-fat fried too long which made it dry and crunchy. Their tartar sauce made it edible. Now as for the Au gratin potatoes, very cheap and cheesy. Whomever, makes this need a lesson in really good Au Gratin Potatoes. Their version is frozen shredded breakfast hashbrown potatoes smothered in a velveeta cheese sauce and placed under a broiler. Mine was a little burnt. I could not eat it, I tried 2 bites but that was it. My guest also tried it and was not impressed. The green were the best part of the meal. My guest had the Walleye and it was very good, same with his rice pilaf. His meal also came with a slice of toasted marble-rye bread. His meal was better. Our ice tea's were watered down by too much ice. No one offered refill/toppers. Our split dessert was their Texas sheet cake. It was an overpriced brownie with bad frosting/glaze. Our server was sweet, so she still got her tip. We traveled approximately 30 miles to check this place out. I don't feel it is worth the drive to eat there again.
