Delicious George’s chicken! Which are chicken fingers but unlike anything I’ve had anywhere else! Jan’s sauce is awesome too! Loved the atmosphere as well! Well worth the hour drive one way from my home!

Haven't been here in years. Was not disappointed. Best chicken strips around. I even figured out how to ale my own since I don't get down there often, and haven't found anything close in Rockford.

Service was great. The chicken wasn’t as good as I remember it once being. Had a bone in one of my pieces of chicken George and my grandma said her prime George was gristly. Overall I think the value was good for the price paid.
Had a wonderful family dinner there on Sunday & the food & the service were great!

Their chicken george is so good. The best chicken around here. The staff is also nice and the atmosphere is cool, very nice decorations. Would come again.

I highly recommend the Prime George. No breading. Chicken strips are grilled to perfection and seasoned just the right amount. Add a side, a margherita and a friend and you've got the makings of a great lunch or dinner.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian dishes to choose from.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for the whole family
Parking: Parking is available on all sides around the restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Dietary restrictions: Just tell your wait staff if you have any dietary restrictions. They will make every effort to accommodate your needs

Had the Kale & Quinoa salad. I believe the price was $16 and it was not even as big as my sister's side salad for dinner. I like this place and when I come to Illinois I try to eat here. I was just floored by the size of that small salad as an entree and the big price tag. On a better note, we were a short notice party of 10 and they did their best to accommodate us. We enjoyed our visit.

We go to this location for the atmosphere. The Chicken George, of course, is great - but the cozy home-town atmosphere is really nice. There's one specific waiter here (can't remember his name) but he goes all out and is super nice every time he's working. Great place!

We’ve always loved candlelight me and my family. Unfortunately, this location has gotten me, my mom, and also my (ex) boyfriend sick. Each time it has been steak so sick to Chicken if you go to this location. Two times for meat got takeout. They were missing items and they also shrunk their delivery limit so they can no longer deliver to me now. For me, it’s just worth it to make the drive to rock Falls.

Cozy ( yet large) friendly and you can see why their “chicken George” is famous. The George Prime is awesome, but I guess the fried is more popular. You can’t go wrong either way, especially since they give free samples. There’s plenty more besides chicken, so don’t feel limited. We were on our way to Morrison-Rockwood state park and this was definitely worth the small detour.
I have been getting chicken at the Sterling carryout for more then I would like to admit. 50 % of the time it's a crapshoot on how done the chicken is. Tonight was the worst. Stick a for in me I'm done. It was barely edible. I'm going to look somewhere else for carryout. Can't imagine going inside and a waitress serving this overcooked chicken.
