Food is unfortunately fantastic. Service sucks. Both servers were rude. And I was unable to eat in restaurant due to them not having spoons. I was offered a disposable spoon and a serving spoon, both of which were disrespectful to me. For how expensive everything is on the menu there is zero excuse to nor have appropriate cutlery.

They won't fix their card reader and don't tell you it's only cash if you order by phone. They charge more and quality of food has went downhill.

I was told about El Jacalito's burrias (sp?),(like a spicy shelled taco..?) 2 years ago by a great friend. I live out of town; but, I always said that I was going to try them some day...OMG! They are wonderful. You will love them. We go during the early afternoon. It is a huge, perfectly decorated decor. Very quiet at this time. But, I can imagine it is extremely busy with a festive atmosphere at the dinner hour. Great place.

It’s so hard to find a place that has good tacos de tripa. The tacos de tripa here are so delicious I had to order more. Will definitely come back next time I come to Sterling.
Food was very good. It was my first time there so I got a wide variety of items. Everything was good. The tamales were good, but nothing special. I was expecting a little more in the tamales. They were just so so average at best. Chips and dip were dynamite
