So I had an interesting experience at Maple Pancake House today. While paying my Autistic daughter was digging in the candy dish and took 4 suckers out. the lady told her not to take more and the story should have ended there.
however my mother who was on the other side of the restaurant heard the workers and the counter person talking bad about the girl who was taking "too much" candy and she is such a bad child.
unfortunately she has Autism and when presented a bowl of candy she is going to have at it. however you yelled at her for it and that should have been the end of it.
I suggest if you don't want "annoying kids" to take candy, you should probably not leave it at eye level on the counter.
I am very upset at the treatment from this restaurant and will not be back.
not only did they show how cruel they are to children for taking less that 25 cents in candy after I just dropped 90 bucks on food. but they can't even let things go and bad mouth a child who literally cannot regulate their emotions.
like I said I find it unfair to treat a child this way, not once did you talk to me about the issue, instead it became end of the day gossip for you.
if it's not clear enough I will not be coming back and I will never recommend your restaurant to anyone else. I will also discourage anyone with special needs from coming into this place because your disability will become gossip with the servers and the owners.

The food is good, but if you are trying to catch up and visit with the company you go meet for breakfast, beware they will ask you to leave before you are done visiting.

This might sound like a paid review, but it’s not. I just believe in giving people their flowers — especially in this industry — when it’s clear they care about every detail. And at Maple Pancake House, it shows.
The food is always on point. The service is fast, friendly, and consistent. The team — from top to bottom — is the kind of staff any owner would be lucky to have. And the owners? They’re right there in it. Working. Leading. Setting the tone. Always kind, always present, and clearly invested.
The steak in the steak & eggs plate deserves its own spotlight — it’s a $20+ steak anywhere else, perfectly cooked every time. It could hold its own in a steakhouse, and yet here it is, on a breakfast plate, without any drop in quality or care.
Thanks for being a great breakfast spot — and more than that, for being a real benchmark of how to run a business right. You’re an inspiration, and absolutely something to strive for.

Best place to eat. Very nice staff and doesn't take long to get our food n always makes sure our cups are full. They need to add on to the place but it's the best place around sterling
