This theater is awesome. They always run promotions and cater to the kids when it's a kids movie. The price is not too expensive and they serve hot food and beer. I will always go here when I can.

I decided not to stoop to your level Dennis Christian, but let's set the record straight. You can't talk or reason with a posse of drunks when all they want is to shout racial slurs, make bodily threats, and break beer bottles on the public sidewalk. Less than 30 days before your reception, you came to see the venue, and I quoted the room, and 8 cases of beer. You decided to put $400 of that on a bar tab, of which $200 was reserved for you and the band. I gave you prepaid discounts, and told you the price for mixed drinks would be $4 to $5 when the tab ran out. You agreed to the terms, I gave you a written contract. Later you start asking for free beer, so I agreed to throw in two cases. Then I find out after the event that you guys smuggled in beer my distributor doesn't even sell. After three hours into what started to be nice evening, I informed you that the prepaid beer and bar tab was getting low. I even refunded you the $200 bar tab left for the band. I came to talk to you and your brother walks up and snaps, then you snap. All of a sudden, I'm surrounded by a group of shouting thugs. Never have I been so disrespected and slandered! So yes, I called the police and shut it down. Have a nice life! Anyone that knows me, or has been to Starlight's knows that I'm fair, very accommodating, and unbiased. More than 10 years in operation, my staff and I are always courteous and professional, and run this business with class.

A month ago we paid 650.00 for place,850.00 for 2.00 bottle beer and 500.00 for a band,Night of ur reception people are telling me he is ringing up 4&5 dollars,NOW I PRE PAID FOR BEER AT 2.00 AND HE IS CHARGING US DOUBLE THINKING WE WERE ALREADY IN DOOR AND HE COULD RAPE MY FAMILY,EVEN HI OWN BARTENDER TOLD ME ONE THING AND HE TRIED TALKING CIRCLES.HE EVEN HAD AC OFF SAID DIDN`T WORK,BUT WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS PART OF HIS SCAM.STERLING IS A SMALL TOWN U DON,T CHARGE 5.00 BOTTLES,even if u paid for band,I BROUGHT BAND,PAID FOR AC-PLACE,400 PLUS BOTTLE.THIS GUY SENT MY BROTHER OUT TO BUY OWN CORONA(cause he forgot) paid 31.00 he put on ice then was ringing up 5.00 for his beer.we were chared 150.00 for that case alone.completly screw my whole reception THANKS JERRY i call them as i see them,u live up to it brother

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! THE OWNER JERRY IS A LIAR AND A SCAMMER! FAMILY HAD WEDDING RECEPTION HERE AND HAD OPEN BAR WITH TAB PAID. WE WERE TOLD HE WOULD CHARGE $2.00 A BEER. WELL HE CHARGED 3-4- AND $5.00 A BEER! I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!! WE DONT NEED PPL LIKE HIM TO RUIN A SPECIAL EVENT! AND WHEN THE FAMILY CONFRONTED HIM.. HE WILL CALL THE COPS ON YOU!! DO NOT GO HERE!

I just attended this past weekend's Main Street Blues Fest, which happens to be my first time at Starlights. That event was definitely fun and worth the price of admission. But I wish I would have brought ear plugs, it was that loud. Suggestion to the management - turn the volume down, at least for that type of event. No one needs to hear Blues at that level in my opinion. Great service by our waitress and at the bar. Excellent pours! Decent brew selection. The arrangement of the place could use some work but since we aren't in the best of economic times, I'll cut 'em a bit of slack on that. Just don't expect this to be a fancy theatre / lounge and you'll be ok. Will have to check out future events when I'm in town.
