Food is decent. The women working was not very pleasant or welcoming ! Doesn’t seem like she wants to work at all & hates her life. Won’t be coming back if she’s working here.

Cheap meat sandwich taste like vegetable soup with ground beef not steak, worse Philly i ever had . I will neve4 waste my money buying food from them again. Cheap quality and nursing home taste.
Great Philly cheese steak and great price. The meat portion was very good. Love this place

One of the best place & amazing service I have ever had. Perfect food in great & good quality. Just check it out people. Different people left different reviews in the past but now the owner and the chef are changed so they improved the quality. Also it’s very quiet & clean place.

The food is mediocre & is very overpriced for what you get. The taste isn't the best, almost something you get from a grocery store but better than fast food. If the prices was a third of the price it would be great then for the cost.

The cheese steak meat is like ground beef not thinly sliced ribeye
With the consistency of dog Food the sandwich is trash. I don’t know why they think this is authentic. You can tell they are not from Philly. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on something more satisfying.

Food was good. The sides are frozen and fried, rather than freshly made, but they weren't bad. Will definitely try out more sandwiches in the future.

It's alright, more of a chopped steak. Paid close to 20 dollars for an original cheese steak and a order of fries. The sandwich was alright not the best or the worst. I got charged 3 dollars extra for some cheese I didn't ask and didn't receive. The amount you pay for an order of fries doesn't reflect the amount of fries you get, on the skimpy side. I have tried other spots and for what I paid here I can get a meal with fries and a drink. Good location for the club and bar patrons nearby. Might try it again maybe will be better experience.

forget commercial Charley's and keep on driving to lake and go see Victor. Their authentic Bodega style chop cheese are fire! the roll was soft and crisp, the steak was seasoned perfect and was packed! service was kind and welcoming! check them out. I got the steak with whiz and mushrooms and peppers…. highly recommend!

I recently visited and was excited to try their take on a classic cheesesteak after learning about the history of the original Philly staple. What I got was more of a chopped cheese, NYC-style, than a traditional Philly cheesesteak. The flavors were fantastic—bold, savory, and well-seasoned—but a few execution missteps held it back from greatness.
First, the grill needs to be cranked up! A super-hot griddle is essential to get that perfect char on the beef, which adds the smoky depth and crispy texture that defines a great sandwich. Unfortunately, the beef was also over-shredded, making it a bit too fine and losing that satisfying bite you expect from thinly sliced ribeye. The bread could use some love too—warming or toasting it would give it the structure to hold up to the juicy filling without falling apart.
The cheese situation also needs a tweak. Mixing the cheese into the beef dulled its impact; layering or saucing it separately would let the flavors shine more distinctly. Despite these issues, the potential is there—the flavor foundation is strong, and with some adjustments, this spot could be a contender.
Overall, it was a decent experience, but I’ve had better. If they fire up that grill, keep the beef sliced right, toast the bread, and rethink the cheese, this place could elevate their game. Worth a try for the bold flavors, but don’t expect a classic Philly cheesesteak just yet.

I believe they put ground beef on their sandwich and not hand shaved rib eye steak. I asked my bread double toasted and it was not even warm.
I was the only person that ordered food and the guy let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes while I was sitting there in front of him. The guy can't see and no one speaks English in there
