Wife and I were in from AZ and I had to take her here. Still great food but maybe my hype and nostalgia built it up to the point where it wasn’t five stars, but a solid 4 nonetheless.
I had their original, well-known Nana's hot dog. The presentation doesn't seem very appealing. The generic hot dog bun was mushy. Their hot dog was cooked on a boil as opposed to a char grill. The fact that hand-cut fries were on top was a plus.
Very good hot dogs and fries for a fair price. As usual it’s always best to go during peak business hours for the freshest dogs. You’ll get a dog wrapped with a decent amount of fries. Fries a fresh cut and salted. I was apprehensive about the pizza but I tried it with a combo and the sausage pizza was very good too. Food will be ready quick, either eat there or grab and go.
