I was in Al's last year and the food was acceptable. This time yesterday, I ordered a club sandwich and the bread was hard as a rock. They apparently save the old bread and use it for sandwiches later in the day. I could barely bite into the bread. Each quarter of the sandwich was loaded with tomato so as to disguise the lack of turkey and bacon and cheese on the sandwich. If you choose to take your chances at Al's, DO NOT order the turkey club sandwich. It's a huge disappointment.

I picked a post at random for lunch, and I chose well! Friendly staff, excellent food, reasonable prices. Ask for Ash Jo if you go, she's amazing.

In the 1980s, I served eighteen months in a Florida prison, and that was a more pleasant experience than having dinner at this place.
Here's a tip for you, when it's 100 degrees outside, turn your air conditioner on. Maybe if people aren't sweating, they will be more forgiving about the bad service, terrible food, and high prices.

Went here for father's day. They ended up overcharging me for the food and when I asked about it they told me after the fact there where upcharges on the sides and that the steak I ordered there was no 10 oz steak. Even though that is what I ordered I ended wasting more time and money and was pretty upset won't be coming again.

Ribeye steak looked and tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. My wife's fries chicken was burnt and tasted like it was cooked in year old grease.

Absolute favorite place to get biscuits and gravy! Locally, I’ve tried a lot of places and their dishes of B&G, but Al’s is the best, especially with a cup of hot tea!

Food was decent but our server refilled mine and my wife’s Pepsi with a already filled cup with ice and pored it in our half full cups and it splashed all over our food this has happened twice now and I personally dislike this because it makes my drink flat it was an unpleasant experience for both of us

Absolutely disgusted with this place. We waited for over an hour for our food. Then we didn't even get what we ordered. The spaghetti is sweet and smells gross. The beef tacos were gross. The meat on the tacos was burnt, and plain after she asked for lettuce and cheese. Paying that kind of money for everything we ordered it should have been a better experience. We won't be back.

Having been up a lot earlier than normal on a Sunday I biked to Als Place for breakfast. It definitely beat my expectations. I will definitely go back on another weekend.
