Great spot. Pickle chips were the crispiest we have ever had and the ranch was thick. Pulled pork sandwich was overflowing with juicy smokey meat and it was on the right kind of bun, not one that falls apart. Great value! Get the homemade rootbeer.
Outdoor seating was plentiful and Doug popped out to say hi and check on us. He wouldn't give me the secret BBQ recipe though...

Absolutely the best smoked ribs all around & I've tried them everywhere! I live an hour and half away and when I'm in Streator I get their food everytime plus some to take home..love the chicken as well. I haven't tried the whole menu option but im sure it's all as delicious..very friendly and reasonable as well..100 percent recommend!

Amazing experience. Fast pace inside was clean and nice and tidy. Food is spectacular, flavor on point, and the sauce gives it another dimension of flavor. Met the owner, and he was very helpful in the food choices we made. A must go to BBQ joint.
The meat falls right off the ribs, mac and cheese is awesome, cornbread is soft.
Love eating at small businesses especially when they taste good.

Doug and Joi catered our wedding last October and everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food as well as Doug and his team. A wonderful couple that truly pays attention to detail and puts heart and soul into what they create. I highly recommend Dig Doug's for catering as well as stopping by for lunch or dinner. We're not too close to the area but we will definitely be stopping by specifically to visit the team and their amazing food. Highly recommend!!

Good actual wood smoked BBQ. I will definitely go again. Doug and staff are extremely friendly. Homemade Root Beer is worth a try. Tastes like a root beer creamsicle. Ribs had good spice to the rub. I would recommend going during the smoking days and times to get fresh ribs. The 50/50 sandwich is a monster. The indoor seating area was cold. Had to keep coats on while eating. Dress appropriately if it's cold outside.
