What a beautiful place! We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. They had a great soup and salad bar. The wings were the best around! Both waitresses were very sweet and helpful.

Came with a parent early on a Saturday around 5pm. When we arrived we were one of the only 3 tables seated. Soon afterwards there wasn’t a seat to be had. So glad we went early. It seemed that there were only 2 servers, one of which was also hosting. That made for some slow service and some confusion, like seeming like you’re forgotten. But the server was super nice so it made up for it. I tried a seafood chowder to start. It was pretty good. But there was a pretty noticeable chip in my bowl. I would think a dishwasher would have caught that and discarded the bowl. Or if not maybe the server. Then I got a vegetable lasagna that I liked also. But they put these two pieces of bread on the side that were all burned up. Again I would think the kitchen would have someone that looks at the dishes before they come out and makes sure everything looks okay, but who knows maybe that’s only something you see on the movies. Dad got the filet mignon.
For the geographical area, it’s pretty good. Especially when you consider most all everybody around there is usually eating is fried tenderloins, fried chicken, fried pickles and French fries, to get a little variety is good. And I am likely to try it again sometime.

Love the ambiance, especially the conversion from bank to restaurant! The violinist was a nice touch as well. Food was ok. Relatively high price for the portion sizes and quality of the meal. The mahi mahi was very dry and the portions looked like they were previously frozen - both my fish and another diner's fish were the exact size portion. Hers was prepared a different way and was also dry. My cousin indicated his burger was cold. Our server was ok but many mistakes were pointed out. For example, a protein was added when requested it not be added.
I don't live in the area, but if I did, I would try it at least one more time, as everyone has an off night.

We had a family get together there last night, of about 15 people. Our server Jamal took excellent care of our table. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was excellent. The salad that came with was also very good. I didn’t hear one complaint about anything. I highly recommend you try them out.

Waitress was attentive when we actually saw her… food was just ok! Beautiful and unique building but they need to tone the lights down a bit. Hard to have a romantic dinner when it’s bright as the sun

Great dining experience. The bank and vault make for something interesting to look at and the servers and food take care of the rest. Alyssa was prompt, friendly and informative, checking in us just the right amount. My steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, an exact med rare. Sides and drinks are exceptional and the prices are very fair. I will stop in any time I am in Streator.

When I’m in the mood for a steak, my go to has been their NY Strip. It’s phenomenal every time. Kudos to the cooks. Had that tonight with the sweet potato that your fork literally falls through. Their mashed potatoes are just right and when I get mixed veggies they are always flavorful. I haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Try a funky monkey, my favorite drink. Very tasty. Haven’t had something like it anywhere else and it’s excellent. It’s great they have a drink list to choose from. Their whiskey drinks, mules and martini’s are all good. Nice little selection of popular beers too. It’s a really nice place that you could pick up and drop into any city in America, and with it’s decor and classy environment, it would fit in anywhere. The bar itself is one of the most beautiful bars around. Also, the staff works hard and always does a nice job.
5 stars should say it all. It is always a great experience.

Lookin for a good place to eat in Streater, IL? Got a place you would never expect! Chicken was perfectly excellent and very juicy and served with fresh hot bread!
Atmosphere is intriguing with an amazing staff to. Their happy to see you and treat customers well, keep up amazing work!
Even if not working in town. Will have to come back and try that prime rib next!
Parking: Locate in back of building. Plenty of space and feels safe.

I was there for private brunch. In an old bank with two large vault doors. Theme centers around that. Atmosphere is cool, service and food good. The bar makes good drinks.
