The health department should shut this place down. A restaurant should NEVER be as dirty and unkept as it is here. The people working obviously have poor hygiene, and they put those germs all up in your food. They don’t wash their hands, they text while cooking, and the food tastes like trash. I can’t think of a single redeeming quality that king wok 47 has. The snot at the front desk really has a bad attitude and treats costumers like she’s some princess who can’t be polite. I’m honestly shocked this excuse for a restaurant has been open as long as it has. Wouldn’t be surprised if roaches ran around all the equipment in the back.
Thank you King Wok 47 for my dinner! My trash can really enjoyed it.

Horrible service! Cashier is so rude. Restaurant is dirty, and if I the place is dirty you can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food is not even good! Rice taste old and dry. Just horrible Chinese food. The way they treat the customers I’m sure they do not care about the food regulations when it comes to making our food. Drive somewhere else. Not worth it. No one is paying anyone to write these reviews King WoK 47 in Sugar Grove. Your establishment is awful. Do better or shut down and let another restaurant take over.

Very disappointing. Food was dried out. Soup was off. Heck, my fortune cookie did not have a fortune in it. Service was terrible. The cashier is a zero on customer appreciation or service. Zero. The atmosphere is dirty. Cook had no hair net and I imagine there are violations for this and other reasons. Very disappointed. The owner responses ask if people are paid to write negative reviews or if they mistake the restaurant. I was not paid and I made no mistake. This place was disappointing in every way.

The woman who takes the orders can be rude occasionally, but the food is always good. The wait is often longer than expected aswell.
Vegetarian options: There is a veggie section on the menu,
but I am unsure if it is vegetarian.
Parking: Hundreds of spots, as it shares a lot with jewel/other businesses.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is very few handicapped parking spots, and there is a curb to get in, that would make it difficult to get in without walking all the way around.

Every time I come here I have to wait an hour for my food. Even if I order it 30 mins before I arrive with a 15 minute window.

Ordered several items, beef egg foo young, lemon chicken, egg rolls, shrimp fried rice and it was all amazing. The woman that helped me was very kind and when I mentioned I was looking forward to dinner and stated it was my first time ordering, she told me I would love her food and that it was very good. She was so sweet and right!! Check this place out, fresh and flavorful, you won't be disappointed.

First time visit last night, purchased the Crab Rangoon, Mongolian Beef and upgraded the Rice to Chicken Fried and it reminded me so much of the old local Chinese place I used to visit back home. Can’t wait to try another delicious meal next time!

We were hesitant bc of mixed reviews but we’ve now visited three times. We really enjoy the food! The spices are perfect. The crab rangoons are some of the best we’ve had. The service is friendly and it is very reasonably priced. Give it a try!

Average Chinese-American takeaway. I ordered around 8:15pm on a Sunday (6/9/24) and ordered the large portions of an orange chicken, curry beef, mongolian shrimp, and beef broccoli. Also ordered a crab rangoon and large egg drop soup. This totaled around $70. Chicken, soup, and rangoons were great. But they really skimp out on the shrimp and beef. Seriously. I got more onions and vegetables than shrimp and beef. The ratio from protein to vegetable is insane. Would just stick to ordering chicken entrees and apps so you get what you pay for those.

Walked in to pick up an almost 50 dollar order and the woman at the front window acted like it was the biggest inconvenience of her day. The tone she was using was rude and stuck up, and she was talking to me as if I had wronged her in some way. I was polite and happy to see her because I used to come to this place as a kid, but now I’ll never go back there again. After signing the receipt, I was handing it back to her and even though it was directly in front of her hand where she could have easily grabbed it, she sat there with her hand closed and with a disgusted look on her face. I don’t know what made you decide to be that way, but congratulations on losing a life long customer! :)
Ps. The food sucks and tastes like you throw in ingredients that sat in your fridge for 3+ weeks. Gross place
