9/1/25 stopped by the Hardee's in Sullivan Illinois for a quick lunch before heading to the campground. Ordered two chicken sandwiches and a Monster burger and fries. The monster burger was ok but wasn't too fresh and the fries were good. One of the chicken sandwiches was good but the other one was terrible! Both top and bottom buns were burnt solid jet black! I think someone was being a smart ass ! We threw the buns away like they should have and used our own but the chicken still had a burnt flavor from being wrapped with the buns. Why would you let something like this go out the door?

The hamburgers at this place are much better than those found at McDonald's. Of course they're a little pricey but I don't mind paying a little more for a better meal.

I would recommend restraining of the front line and backline cook cashier made a rude comment since all I ordered was a small meal like I wasn't spending enough money The fry station had not heat lamp on look like they been sitting in the tray for a long time so when I got out to my car was exactly what I thought old cold disgusting the two double cheeseburger tasted like the burger had been pre cooked sitting in a tray they were cold one had two slices of cheese stuck together and the other had only one slice of cheese very nasty cheese wasn't even melted as a former Hardee's cook years ago the buns and meat are run through a chain broil grill takes not even eight minutes or less to cook hot fresh fries take about three minutes so that being said top bun squirt of mustard squirt of ketchup two pickles bottom bun meat patty slice of cheese meat patty slice of cheese put sandwich together hot and fresh french fry station heat lamp on fries hot out of fryer scooped up I guarantee would have been ten times better than the nasty meal I was served the parking lot is in need of a lot of repairs the restaurant itself needs some remodeling and restroom was discusting

Burger meat looked sick like worms had crawled through it. I didn't even finish more than a bite. Everything just tasted old and bad.
The worker was super nice though! Hardee's needs to support this location more. Soemthing isn't right...

Ordered a chicken sandwich, they gave me a ham and Swiss. Was already home when I noticed it. Can’t eat the ham and Swiss, I’m allergic. Thanks for the $15 worth an hour service!
I frequent this location for breakfast before work. The food is always fresh and hot. The employees are kind, even early in the morning :)

Way too expensive especially since they can't get an order correct, ordered hot ham and cheese tonight got a loaded cheeseburger instead, told me I couldn't substitute fries for curly when I've done it a million times, so I had to order them separate. Definitely will not be going back there.
