Ordered a meal today. The ultimate burrito. $17.95 on both of our menus. Called the manager as I realized the error. And was told those are 2 old menus. The online menu is old too. Plus she added “prices are subject to change without notice” The error on the menu is one thing. But the explanation is just not good business. The restaurant is nice. The server was nice. The explanation was and is weak. Please note the review from 3 months ago, as this was done to him too. It’s not a mistake it’s their practice.

First and foremost....Welcome Back to this location!! Menu has changed for the good. I had the language burrito and it was delightful. My friend and I ordered chicharon tacos. She also had the Carne asada tacos. Somethings need to be tweaked but the food was good.Wheelchair accessibility: None

Was really disappointing how much gristle was in my burrito. I was really excited to get them after all these years but that was definitely a let down. The flavor was great but you gotta cut that gristle out. I loved how they kept the decor like an authentic Southside taqueria, even the booths and everything. I will try one more time in the future and update my review if the cook learns to part ways with the gristle. I know it's easy to make the meat stretch further by including it but it really reduces the quality and mouth feel. They also close too dang early!

Loved the restaurant! It’s the original El Famous Burrito location. I feel like it’s a space full of so much history and glad they were able to recover from the fire. The space is Mexican modernist with a taste of vintage. The fooooood tho!!! The tacos, sopes de chicaron ???? sooooo good. Everything I’ve eaten here reminds me of Mexico. I’m a music girl, so what I’m gonna need is a link to their playlist it had me in a happy place while I ate my food. The service is amazing!!! The girls in the front were the sweetest very attentive. Their customer service has really improved. Seeing all women working the front makes the space more welcoming and warm. I honestly can’t wait for their bar to open up! It’s already a vibe love it here!

Stopped here after a hike to refuel and the food did not disappoint! I had the chicken milanesa torta and my husband had the chilaquiles. We tried their horchata coffee and everything was delicious. Glad we checked this place out, its not far from us and I can see it becoming our go-to spot. Will be coming back with the kids soon.

Everything is great it really needs to be wheelchair accessible. After the remodel you would think it would be handicap accessible. The food was delicious, service was good and clean. ?

Chilaquiles taste was a 6.8/10. Sauce was decent in flavor. The main issue was the price and amount that was actually served. $15 for one spoonful of chilaquiles and one spoonful of meat. The eggs were well cooked, normal amount of rice and beans, could've used some seasoning for flavor.Have had other food items from here in the past which were more worth the price such as the cheese fries with meat and everything. Tacos are good here as well. It's just if you want chilaquiles, go elsewhere. If you want a good deal for more amount and cheaper price, similar taste, del carmen is where it's at with their chilaquiles. As I said, other food was good here, just a bit disappointing with the chilaquiles.
