The best Polish and Lithuanian food around. Great deli across the street with bacon buns etc etc.
Their heater was broken and it was 28 degrees out and snowing. It was freezing in the restaurant, and especially bad every time the door opened. The food was delicious but the menu did not have any items marked gluten free. Therefore, it took a really long time to get our food as the server was not well educated on gluten free and the kitchen prep so he had to keep checking with the chef.
Our servers were amazing. The food was good as well. I want to love this place because I'm Lithuanian, but every time we come here we have a table issue. Last time, we were put in the bar. This time, we had a table by the hostess that was so cold that I had to keep my coat on and wear gloves between courses. We were told that we "made the reservation later than others", and yet many tables sat open and cleared. I don't think that this seating arrangement is fair or acceptable if you don't have coverage from the elements at the door. I'm nervous about going back.
Food was fabulous unfortunately they were understaffed that evening so can't evaluate the service fairly!
Loved Grand Duke!! It was our first time coming there and we wated a true german Food experience. The food was beyond amazing and the whole ambiance was perfect!! I loved my dinner which was the pork loin, mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. My husband thought his meatloaf was a tad dry but was better with the mushroom gravy. We pre-ordreed Original Potato Pancakes with sour cream and applesauce. LOVED them!! The only thing I would be prepared for is don't be in a hurry. The service is really slow, but the food is so good, we didn't care!
Omg. West-slavic comfort food to the max (Polish, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, etc). I loved it here. Only thing is if you order schnitzel, its hard to know which one is which (chicken looks the same as beef and etc.) - if multiple people in your party order it, make sure to pay attention!!

Food was their version of Lithuanian food. Service was terrible and atmosphere, well let's say if your not Lithuanian don't bother going there.

Grand Dukes is hit and miss, have had both great experiences and awful ones. Their Sour Kraut is phenomenal, but their service is inconsistent; some servers are great, others will completely forget about you. This evening we sat down with our 2 year old, ordered food and drinks, and after 30 minutes of seemingly being forgotten, never receiving our food, drinks, or waters, we left. Visit at your own risk, or just head 10 minutes down the road to Bavarian Lodge for the same style food with an always exceptional experience.

The menu offers a ride variety of Eastern European foods. I found it very good as did the others in my party. I would go there again.

Great food. Never disappoints. So many things on the menu! Everything has been delicious so far!
The menu and the food were excellent. The live music was too loud for comfortable communication where we were sitting. That is something to keep in mind when selecting your table.

It was our first time dining at Grand Duke's and our expectations were based on the menu and price point. What we didn't expect was the noise level, the dimness and the sports bar atmosphere with football and baseball games playing on screens throughout the venue. We were expecting a venue where we could chat with our friends and enjoy their company as well as the food. Half way through our meal, a waitress brought a tealight and set it on the table. Shortly after, the lights were dimmed and a man started singing sinatra and French songs, which again we didn't expect to hear at a German/Bavarian restaurant. at that point we couldn't hear across the table. We enjoyed our meals but the atmosphere ruined the occasion for us.
