Great experience the people are nice the area looks clean atmosphere is awesome the food is great. How to security guard on duty really good guy. I got the sandwiches they got the hot dogs and low-key their barbecue is on point. The most of all it is a reasonable price.

This is my first time at Portillos, Chicago's staple. As the atmosphere was original and great customer service, the food was very mediocre. I kept having to sprinkle salt on my fries and Italian beef.

My Italian beef was dry, cheese wasn't melted, and my fries were not hot, even after I requested a fresh order. I believe I was given my original fries back.

We came to Illinois to visit family, and they took me to places I had never eaten at before. Portillo's was out first stop. We shared a hot dog that had peppers, onions, pickles and mustard. It was a delicious representation on a great Chicago dog! We also tried the beef and sausage combo. We got spicy gardiniera veggies and cheese. It was soooo good! There was a woman going around and chatting with customers as she cleaned. It was a lovely experience! Can't wait to visit again!

Have ordered food several times from the Summit restaurant. It's usually very good. The issue for us is they very rarely get the order correct. I've now waited 7 business days for a refund. I Ordered en entree that offered a protein. I requested a meatball. They also offered garlic bread to substitute for house bread. I received neither despite paying an extra $5 for the food. I Called the store gave the manager my information. He claimed to have made a refund for the mistake. But here I am days later and short $5. Don't have food delivered. Their employees can't seem to read. Customer service practices there are a joke.

17 min for 2 veddie dogs and a cheese fry. I had to ask about my order the employee was slightly annoyed. I asked at the 15 min. mark. They said we are making the other hot dog. It took 2 more min. And I got my order. I walked to my car and opened the first hotdogs 4 min after I received it. It was cold. The other one was plenty warm. I think they made one and had to wait for the second. It was not good cold. They did give me a large fry instead of a small one, which was nice, but i really just wanted 2 good temp, hot dog with a small fry in a reasonable amount of time

As a long time loyal customer, I can say I am completely dissatisfied in the service I was just provided. From the incorrect food order to the customer service, I'm truly disappointed in my last two Portillo's experiences. This last experience they did not give me the correct pasta (my fault for not double checking, smh). I ordered a chicken diavolo and received a fettuccine. I called back was put on hold twice til I finally was able to speak to a manager and then was told by the manager that I received the order that I was intended too, but that wasn't the case. I drove back, asked to speak to the manager, had her look at the receipt, and opened the bag to find the incorrect pasta order (just so we're all on the same page). I ordered a side of onion rings and a sandwich, and received a 6pc of overly done rings and a badly burnt breaded chicken croissant. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but the quality of this location has just been on a steady incline for a while now.
