This place raised me. I’ve had more core memories at Dairy Dee than in my actual home. The soft serve tastes like how summer break used to feel. The fried pickles? Life altering. I don’t know what oil they’re using but I’d baptize my future children in it. Every visit feels like returning to the womb but with better snacks. 11/10 no notes.

Whenever I’m in the area, the family and I always visit. My wife used to work here back in high school, and I always look forward to seeing if the unicorn flavor of coconut would show up. After 7 years of visiting, it finally came around! The girls who take our orders are quick and efficient. Dairy Dee’s ambiance is the quintessential Midwest summer dessert restaurant treat that you’d think of when you remember 90s movies.

Ice cream is fine, service leaves a lot to be desired. Idk how they mess up simple orders so badly. I've had trouble getting milkshakes and cones right here, really basic stuff and they still mess it up.

Dairy Dee is a popular Ice Cream shop in the small community of Sumner, Illinois. I like to go there for dessert on weekends when I have been to Vincennes to eat dinner. Dairy Dee offers up all your favorite standards as well as a number of treats that rotate each week. Every Thursday is when they change flavors.
Great place to take the gkids out for ice cream. I even get the teenagers excited for it

Food and ice cream so good that even the great eclipse of 2024 stopped by dead center. 4 minutes of totality with great food and ice cream. Everyone was friendly and the pic of the great burger and fries speaks for itself.
