Recently went to fish stand on August 10 2023. It closed down & not sure when it will open. 1 star because there was no warning from maps that it closed. But check back down the road I did hear they were looking for a new spot. I'm sure the fish will be great once they or if they open again.

I only took one bite of the food and immediately regretted it, the food was soggy and bland and dry I hope me and my parents never come here again

This is not a dine in facility. The food was delicious and if you place your order ahead, it's usually ready when you arrive. You will have to use GPS because it's off the beaten path.

Excellent food and service. Staff does an amazing job in getting your food to you. Friendly and efficient service. The most excellent side dishes and lots of variety. Will go back and a must try venue, you won't be disappointed. Prices are reasonable and not expensive. Tim is the best owner and his staff is very committed to their jobs. Five Stars. Food is very good. Long wait, but that's because of the good food. Place hasn't been updated in 30 years, so be ready for wood paneling and saggy ceiling tiles.

I ordered 4 platter cod dinners. This whole time my debit card was visible to lady taking ordered. Once I finished with my food I started to hand her my debit card when she finally told us they didn't take cards only cash. Would have been nice if they posted their restrictions where people knew they couldn't take cards. I noticed a sign at the bar next door had a ATM but by then I was disgusted with the whole thing and left. At $14 per platter with a total of 4 ordered they lost a lot of money cuz if I had liked it I would have frequented the business a lot. They sure lost a lot of money when I walked away cuz I'll never go back!!!

The food was prepared beautifully and quite delicious!! Service is top notch and everyone made you feel at home. Even Scotchy, the short man with a wooden leg that sits in the corner! He can spin quite the yarn!!

My family and I dined in the outdoor seating on a Friday night at the Swansea Fish Stand and enjoyed freshly fried fish. All of us ordered the cod and chose two sides from the menu.The runners are kind and quick to help, but unfortunately are short-staffed (as many local restaurants are these days). There were several things on the menu that were unavailable, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the food was delicious.The outdoor area is dog-friendly, which was a nice perk and I spotted at least three cats patrolling the area. There were even bowls of cat food lining the outside wall of the kitchen.
