I know I'm weird for this, but whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop here for the chicken planks from LJS. They slways make them fresh, so i don't mind the short wait.
Oh. My. God. This is my second favorite restaurant, and is way closer to me than my favorite. On October 20th, 2024, we went to Kuiper Family Farm. We needed a place to eat for dinner, so I made hints to my friends like, "Guys, you know where I wanna go.." and "Since we're in Sycamore..". They got the hints, and we came here. Very quiet, we were the only ones inside. There were 4 of us, but one didn't get her food when the rest of us did. When we asked they gave her all but her 3 chicken strips, said they were still cooking. When they brought them out, she began tearing them apart so they could cool down and found that it was still raw inside. She checked the others, and found them the same, so I took them back and they gave us new ones and they were fine. The rest of the food was good.
