I'll be honest, we did not eat there. I'm always suspicious of off-season golf course eateries. We showed up during prime time and it was dead there. It might be great. I don't know. But if a store is slow I wonder how fresh the food is. It might be great. I'll try them in season

Everything looked soggy and taste like it came out of a can

The food took so long to come out. To top it off it was cold.

Say at table waiting for a waitress for a half hour. No acknowledgment in any way that we were there. Never even received water.
Ended up walking out. Went next door to Dirty Bird.

We hosted our company holiday dinner here, very great food and service. The staff was on top of everything and added details to our menus to help customize our event. Highly recommend!

We had dinner at Nat's last night. I haven't eaten there in years, but it was exactly as good as I remember. It was so nice to eat at a restaurant where everything on the menu is better than anything I can cook myself. No question, their kitchen staff are professionals. The price point is barely more you'd pay for corporate casual, at a time when fast food can cost you $20 a person, most of their entrees are in the $28 range. I don't want to throw shade at anyone else's restaurant in particular, but I haven't enjoyed a dining experience like that in years and I've been to almost every more upscale restaurant in this area. If you are in the industry you need to go and, and take notes. The service was impeccable, and they made no effort to rush us out the door to turn over the table. It was so nice to feel like a civilized human being.

Everything on the menu is great. Their calamari is a great app and the garlic aioli it comes with needs to go on every sandwich I eat from now on.

Really solid steak and their shrimp/grits and jambalaya are great comfort staples. I've eaten here a handful of times and it has yet to miss. The service is really great too with a quiet/supper club atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious- I especially loved the “Comfort food” menu. My only complaint was that my mom’s sugar snap peas were tough and not edible. Service was fantastic! The front dining room could use something- I don’t know what. It seemed a bit dull and somewhat smelly. We would gladly return!

I just saw a two star review, saying that the shepherd's pie was awful. I'm sorry but the shepherd pie is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten in my entire life and we are going thursday to have it again. The service is great and the prices are reasonable and right in the range of all other restaurants of that type. I think this reviewer must be one of those frugal to a fault people who like to give a bad review.Thinking they will make the restaurant lower their price. That's on maple is a must visit restaurant if you live in the area.

A group of my colleagues were directed to Nat's by a law professor and dean at NIU School of Law. My colleagues had GREAT difficulty with the food ordered -- smothered chicken barely eaten; shrimp and grits served with undercooked grainy grits; and most significantly the "MAMA'S SUNDAY GRAVY" -- braised short ribs / burrata / homemade tomato sauce / angel hair ~ was inedible and the request for additional sauce on the side ignored. I ordered the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage, and it was just average. The shrimp were decently cooked, but the dish lacked bold flavor and was greasy. The grits were underseasoned, leaving the overall experience a bit bland. Not bad, but not memorable--worth trying once, but I wouldn't rush back for it. Wonderful service and venue, especially the accommodation of a private dining space, but not enough to save an otherwise underwhelming experience. You may be wondering why four stars instead of three: Me too!
