Standard breakfast place. Most impactful thing I remember is my wife asking me how anyone could screw up a waffle. They managed it. Bland, tasteless, but hey, if you dont want to cook breakfast and want someone else to do it, they are fine, I guess.

The food was good. But there is a steep charge for using a credit card. Then of course you are presented with the screen for making a tip. They included both the non-cash price plus the tip multiplied by 18%. I won't go back there ever again. Don't understand why some business do this. The credit card fees they pay are tax deductible and should be considered the cost of doing business. Plus, not my problem but do they really want to keep that much cash around.

BOTH my wife and I got sick from diarrhea shortly after our lunch. 2 different orders, Tuna Melt and Egg Salid. Not going back anytime soon.
This was our first time at the Sycamore Cafe. The food, family atmosphere and servers were outstanding. Wendy was exceptionally great! We will be back.
