Been before and enjoyed it. Service was over the top this visit. Had the seafood platter this time. Shrimp, perch and haddock deep fried. The coating was tasty and crisp but they were all over cooked bordering on burnt.

Terribly dirty water cups . Very low quality food is being served . The cook obviously has no experience and no care . On top of the food being a joke , the price was outrageous.. I guess there’s a reason there is only 2 people here at 9:30am on a Sunday . What a mistake coming here

First time we came for breakfast and the food and service knocked it out of the park for us and we wondered/regretted why we hadn't come sooner. We came back and brought someone with us and we experienced somewhat of the opposite. We waited quite a bit to meet our server and we had to keep asking for refills on our drinks as she didn't stop by our table much. We will definitely be by again since 3rd times a charm!

Being a food critic I must say the food is absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, great service and atmosphere is very important to compliment the food. Today I ordered lunch here, food was awesome but the approach of a very rude servant killed the taste of my food and the atmosphere, I would have to give it a low score and think twice before coming in next time.

A really authentic place in Sycamore.
We went to dinner with some friends at Fish Fry Friday, there were three options and we chose “fried haddock” and “trout fillet”, we did not try the tuna.
We liked both dishes very much, especially the trout. The mashed potatoes were very good too.
The staff's attention was excellent and the atmosphere somewhat peculiar. Mostly old people come, so it's easy to feel young ?
The cheesecake for dessert is a must-try!
We thought it was cheap, we paid less than $20 per person. Good experience.
