For the first time it was very very good. everything was homemade. but not only that. The made you feel welcomed. spoke to you. helped you with what to order. It is a beautiful place. Also you can here the church Chime it's beautiful Bella. the church the chimes a good bell song. very beautiful. God has away of letting you see something so special. thank you for everything. 2 granddaughters and I went there for lunch today. Food was really good as was the service!! Fried chicken was available (didn’t have to wait 20 min)! And our bill was just $15.98….for all three of us! *They don’t take credit/debit cards, it’s cash or a check! But it was the atmosphere that we really loved. So many times when we eat somewhere the workers look like they hate their job, like it’s a bother to wait on people. But at the Kountry Kitchen everyone was smiling and chatting with each other as well as customers! They were busy and everyone was working but it was a no stress zone! 🤗

I did my research, read the reviews, and was excited to try this place. It was difficult to find parking. The sign in the window said closed even though their online hours had them open for another hour. People were coming and going. I waited for nearly 10 minutes watching the staff bustling around clearing off tables, taking orders, or checking customers out at the register. None of them even acknowledged me. I know they were busy, but it's just common decency to greet someone and let them know they'll be with you when they can. The prices looked great, and clearly this place draws a crowd, but I walked out, and won't be back because I live hundreds of miles away. 2 stars for the staff working hard and staying busy, but overall, very disappointed in the lack of attention and service.

What you have here is simply a good old local breakfast and lunch place that is easily worth the 6 or 7 minute drive from the interstate. Plus it's a bargain! We had a cheeseburger with a load of excellent onion rings, and a 2-pc fried chicken dinner, and with tax and a $5 tip the total was $21. We drank only water so no drinks in that price. Just loved the food and great service. We came here based on the high rating (4.8) and it's well deserved. Cash only but they have an ATM. They close at 2pm.
