Best Mexican in effingham. Great price for great tacos. I preferred the carnitas to the carne asada. Red salsa es mejor! This taco truck is better than any sit down restaurant in this small town. Very authentic

The food here is excellent. I have haven't tried everything on the menu yet but what I have tried so far brokers no complaints. They have a couple of outdoor tables if you are on foot or just don't want to eat in your car or take it home. If you haven't tried yet stop by.

Street Tacos, Street Corn and Chicken Burrito were SO GOOD! My husband loved the beans and rice that came with the burrito meal. The green salsa was pretty mild and the red salsa packed plenty of heat. We were passing through Effingham but we’ll come back to Taqueria Jalisco next time through. Highly recommended!

Best tacos I've had in the Midwest! Had the carne asada and chicken tacos. Meat was well marinated, and salsa was the perfect balance of spice and flavor. Reasonable price too. We will be back!
They now have little fobs to let you know when your order is ready; perfect timing with the weather getting colder. Yummy beans. Lovely people. Have a spicy salsa for your food if you’re so inclined. Favorite food truck here.
Vegetarian options: I don’t eat meat on certain days, and they’re always happy to accommodate with fish/shrimp.
Parking: Enter right between Wright at Home Furniture and the stop light.
Wheelchair accessibility: Pavement is decent enough as of Nov. 2024 for wheel chairs to roll up to the window.

Best tacos in Effingham county! Seriously. I was in town visiting family for graduation and was just driving into Effingham and saw this food truck and curiosity got the best of me. Ordered a mangonada and the el pastor tacos on corn. Seriously sooooo good! I was impressed (and I’ve been living in Austin, Texas for 8 years so the competition is fierce!). I’ll be coming back anytime I’m here.
