Great live music venue!!!

I attended their annual CobraFest this weekend and had a complete blast. Saw an entire lineup of great bands entertain people who came from all over the country to see their favorites. They always have great wait staff and the most reasonable drink prices around. Best dive bar in Illinois.

Great vibe, awesome people, and good cheap drinks. Matt’s a super cool guy who makes good cocktails, but he likes Rush a little too much. Impressive vinyl collection. No regrets making it down here for a wicked night and Matt was rad enough to drive us back to our hotel at the end of the night when Uber let us down, but like don’t ask him to do that.

The Loose Cobra is a funky hometown roadhouse with hundreds of records to play on the turntable, friendly people at the bar, and an absolutely ballistic live music scene inside and out.

The Cobra provides decadent and sensual decor with all the Bourgeois trappings that mid-American classes can afford the opportunity to facilitate…Unlike it’s competition across the road, where corpulent and vulgar waitresses are overflowing from spanx and undersized yoga pants ..thrusting their wares on unsuspecting patrons, where drinks are watery and patrons unruly…..The Cobra offers an affable mild mannered, heavy-handed barkeep with excellent social expertise. (Very reminiscent of a local English pub or ale house.)Patrons are sophisticated, urbane and worldly. Horseplay and Tomfoolery are also strictly prohibited resultant in a truly satisfying experience for all.Musical aficionado’s need not travel any further to appreciate this venues skilled accomplishments. Tasteful displays of fine musical abilities displayed regularly. The Cobra is the central gemstones in the heart of a bustling urban cultural Mecca.
