My sister and I recently visited Smitty's after suffering a chicken wing craving. The wings were excellent as usual. We were talking to the waitress about quantity. I planned on taking some to work for my residents at LaSalle County Nursing Home. The waitress gave a discount since they were going for the residents. I brought in loaded potato salad to have with the wings. The residents loved their late night snacks. LaSalle County Nursing Home and I thank you.
Let’s start with the obvious pork tenderloin. Ok yes it huge but that’s really it. Oh and the pickles were good. The breading was rock hard and dry. The meat itself was tasteless and not seasoned one bit. Was so plain tasting it was ridiculous. Also the meat was dry in spots and very tough. Now the breaded cauliflower was awesome and the ranch they serve is awesome as well. Had a side of slaw and that was pretty damn good also. I think I’d of been a lot happier...
On July 5th 2024 , my family came in from Tennessee and Indiana to try their famous Pork Tenderloin , celebrating our mother’s 83rd birthday. The service was so amazing and super friendly. I want to say thank you Smitty’s Bar and Grill for a great service.
