Happened upon this friendly great restaurant in Troy, IL while traveling home from OK to OH. Oh my! What a gem. This was some of the best Italian food we have eaten. Brian got a half a pizza that was full of toppings and much too big to eat. I got the the spaghetti and meatballs. The red sauce was like the Italian mother's made and the meatball was the owner's grandmother's recipe. Holy Meatballs! It was delicious. We will definitely be back on pur way through when we travel. We talked to the owner for quite a while. So friendly, kind and appreciative of our patronage.

The half jumbo is smaller and the crust was tough not up to usual standards. So disappointed we always look forward to the pizza from here. But this time was a fail. Been eating this pizza 30 years. I spoke with the owner and he promised me this was a bad night and the pizza would from now on be up to standards. We ordered last night and it was WONDERFUL! I am so happy!

This is our go to pizza place. The crust is a thin spongey crust, the sauce is perfect-not too acidy. The Alfonso bits with any sauce <chefs kiss>. Watch out for the wings<medium > they can become addictive. This is a family owned and worked business-they care! They set high expectations and full fill them.
