Cutest little ice cream place and such good ice cream and treats! I love that they've expanded a bit to include the pre-made cupcakes, ice cream, and cookies/brownies as well!
City Scoops Creamery is a little gem in Troy, IL. They offer a selection of over 30 ice creams, sorbets, and Italian ices. My personal favorite is the Southern Bourbon Butter Pecan. It combines the subtle caramel warmth of bourbon and the nutty crunch of pecans. The service at City Scoops has always been friendly and efficient. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.

Definitely not worth it!!!
I have had better ice cream at Sonic.
I completely understand supporting small businesses but this one is way over priced and not worth it.
There was a total of 8 of us and only 2 kids liked their ice cream.

Ordered a scoop of the brownie batter, topped with some Reese’s pieces. I enjoyed it. Took home a pint of chocolate chip cookie dough for my boyfriend and there was only cookie dough on the top. The rest was all vanilla. Not worth the $9.55 paid (just for the pint).

We came there. Waited 15 minutes, patiently!! Just for someone to cut us in line and the Cashier let it happen like she didn’t see us in store waiting, patiently.Wont be back.
Love the Bourbon Pecan ice cream!

At City Scoops Creamery in Troy, IL, the existential void felt a bit more indulgent this afternoon. As I savored the All Nighter Coffee Chip on a crispy waffle cone, I couldn't help but ponder the fleeting nature of pleasure—yet there it was, melting deliciously with each bite. My wife, perhaps in an attempt to stitch together the disparate threads of the universe, chose a mix of banana and peanut butter flavors, blending them into a creamy concoction that seemed to defy the chaos of existence. Meanwhile, my son, embracing the vibrant randomness of childhood, opted for a daring mix of chocolate and bubble gum ice cream crowned with gummy bear toppings—a chaotic, colorful spectacle. Here, under the unassuming neon glow of City Scoops, we found a momentary respite from the indifferent cosmos, a place where even the most absurd cravings are met with a smile. It's a reminder, perhaps, that while the universe doesn't care, the people at City Scoops certainly do. Whether or not any of it matters, today, it felt like it might.

Ice cream is so good! I always get the cookies and cream and it’s lousy with cookies!! Price is comparable to Dairy Queen’s so it’s a great option. ?

The brownie ice cream sandwich is so good. Excellent chewy brownie and cream ice cream in the middle. I like every flavor here. Best around!
Very good!!
Rude response from owner when asked about ingredient list. Have chronic illness and sensitivities. Obviously using unnatural ingredients but didn't have to be rude about it.
Awfully expensive
Place has a ton of options. We love it here.
