Cracker Barrel is our go to place for a good home cooked meal when you just don’t want to cook.

My meal would’ve been perfect if they had served me fresh chicken tenders. The first order was extremely dried out. I ate my sides while waiting on my server to return to my table. Mashed potatoes, baby carrots, broccoli were all delicious. Once server arrived back at table , I kindly asked if it would be a problem to have fresh tenders fried, “her reply was yes.” Tenders packed for carry out, ate the sides for dinner.
Please don’t serve what you wouldn’t eat yourself, problem solved

The baked potato and salad was good but the green beans had no seasoning. The vinegar they gave us for the greens was spoiled. It smelled really bad. The server forgot so many things we asked for then disappeared so we had to flag down another server who was so helpful and got everything we asked for.

My order was not complete and when I called to discuss it.I feel like I was dismissed.
I was pretty much just offered a side and sent away.

Sure has changed. People aren’t friendly here anymore. More a fast food pace now. Sad actually. Will spend my money elsewhere

I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a while and wanted to try it since the changes I read about were made. A few old favorites are gone like Hershel’s Breakfast and portions are smaller. Our waitress seemed tired of explaining the changes to customers. So much of our meal is pre made, yet took just as long to make it to the table. It’s just not the Cracker Barrel I remember or crave anymore

Soup was lukewarm. Romaine lettuce, precut and definitely not fresh. Is it really that hard to cut lettuce on the side?
