We stopped at this Cracker Barrel on our way from Chicago to Rolla, Missouri dropping off our daughter and our server. Johnny H was not only super friendly, but he was also very competent . We were there at 11:20 AM on January 18, 2026, and even the manager stopped by to see how everything was even though they were super swamped. The food was good as usual, but the service was extremely good.

Waitress eas very pleasant, very accommodating and the atmosphere was nice. Highly recommend this location over the others in the area especially the O’Fallon location which sucks.

I always loved Cracker Barrel but I have gotten tired of the menu and they have changed the menu just a little. What I used to order 10 years ago isn't the same today. Like they used to offer grits, they still have them but don't offer them, you have to ask for them. So today I didn't go inside. The people I drove were happy with their meal but had a lot of trouble at the cashier over their bill.

We arrived around 7am for a quick breakfast after driving all night from TX, on our way to visit family in Chicago. The hot coffee was much needed! My husband ordered the Grandpa Breakfast and I got the Sausage hashbrown casserole. My daughter had the confetti pancakes with bacon. Everything came out delicious! Our server was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was joyous as people showed up. Just as we were wrapping up, to our surprise someone generously paid for our breakfast! To our Secret Santa, if you see this, thank you so much! It made our morning that much more special and we will be paying it forward! My family and I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and friendly people!

They'll stand there and watch you shop and not even tell you your to-goe food is up getting cold. I'm a trucker, I deserve a hot meal sometimes, please and thank you. I'm noticing this alot across the nation, employees not helping customers and/or what I just experienced in hopes they go buy stuff in the store. This is coming from the top obviously, were tired of eating your cold food because you want floor sales.
Customer service was great the server that we had was really awesome too
