This place is Great! I live in Arizona and I travel alot. Eat out most of the time. Love Mexican food and this place has got it! VERY REFRESHING! and different from the everyday Mex restaurant. Staff are accommodating and PRESENT! Everything is Fresh and savory. There's a reason El Potro is a favorite locally. I will be back

I have been to this restaurant several times with family and friends, and I am happy to give it a solid 4 stars for their extensive menu that includes many vegetarian options, their good prices, and large portions.
Service has always been good, also.
It is a popular place for locals who enjoy their good food and fair prices.
I don’t believe that it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in terms of authenticity, but I admit that I am comparing it mostly to restaurants that I have visited in the Southwest, which have more traditional and more complex food with more seasoning and spices. Still, the food is fairly good.
We will definitely return here again sometime.
Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options on the menu including vegetarian combinations. All vegetarian dishes labeled. Some substitutions allowed to make other dishes vegetarian

I only went in for salsa to take to a friend's house. I received a friendly greeting at the door. There was a big sign showing the different sizes of salsa, guacamole, etc . They had the actual cup up there so you could see how much you were getting and how much it would cost. I asked if it was spicy and he immediately offered me a sample with chips. It was very good, tangy, and fresh.
I will definitely be going back!
