Third time is the charm. I was coming back late from a work trip and decided to stop for dinner. Couldn't get in to Joe's Pizza. Couldn't get in to the BBQ place right next door to Terra Sur that I love either. Tried these guys for the first time and I'm glad I did.
I wanted quick but not the pre-made order-by-number kind of quick so I opted for their chicken with chorizo and cheese sauce. I arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was quite enjoyable. The chicken was tender and juicy but still cooked through. Chorizo was a bit more mild than I'm used to getting but still added a nice punch to the dish. Blanketed with cheese...just so you know it's not an authentic Mexican dish but rather an Americanized one. Regardless, it was exactly what I wanted at the moment and Terra Sur delivered.
Still haven't been to a Joe's but this dinner was a nice reminder that I don't need to be in a hurry to get to a chain restaurant when there are good family-owned places in the area.

The food was absolutely delicious. Order of burritos with caso topping. Very tasty. This is my go to order when I'm at a Mexican restaurant and this was maybe the best I've ever had. My son said the Birria tacos he ordered were awesome. The best he has eaten. 3 hard shell tacos + sides were full and delicious. Burritos locos... also very good. Staff was attentive and so nice. What else can I say? We live out of state but we will be back!!!

This place was the first place I ever tried Birria Tacos, and I've tried them a few other places and Terra Sur is by far still the best I've tried. They are just so stinking good. Three tacos doesn't sound like a lot (at least to a piggy like me), but they will fill you up!
My kids usually get pretty plain beef tacos with cheese, and even that is really good! The beef is seasoned so well.

I love this restaurant! The biggest downside is the prices being a tiny smidge high but, for the quality of the food and amount you get, it ends up being worth it. All of their food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, and I’ve always had great service. When the weather is nice their outside patio makes for an enjoyable meal and I’ve even seen them have live music before! As a Troy local it’s nice to have this place in town.
