The food was absolutely delicious. Order of burritos with caso topping. Very tasty. This is my go to order when I'm at a Mexican restaurant and this was maybe the best I've ever had. My son said the Birria tacos he ordered were awesome. The best he has eaten. 3 hard shell tacos + sides were full and delicious. Burritos locos... also very good. Staff was attentive and so nice. What else can I say? We live out of state but we will be back!!!

Terra Sur is a true local gem in Troy, Illinois! The food is consistently delicious and I'm hooked on the street tacos and their queso cheese dip. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and their menu has something for everyone. Always a solid choice and perfect for families, takeout, or a casual night out.
If you’re searching for the best Mexican food in Troy or nearby towns like Edwardsville or Collinsville, this local gem is absolutely worth the visit. So grateful to have it in our community, and I hope more people discover this amazing spot!

Carnitas was good but the smallest portion I've ever seen 4 pcs of meat the size of a quarter $25 and didn't get my guacamole. Sadface

I freaking love this place. All the staff are so friendly and attentive!
This place was the first place I ever tried Birria Tacos, and I've tried them a few other places and Terra Sur is by far still the best I've tried. They are just so stinking good. Three tacos doesn't sound like a lot (at least to a piggy like me), but they will fill you up!
My kids usually get pretty plain beef tacos with cheese, and even that is really good! The beef is seasoned so well.

Service is a little slow but wow, the food made up for it! I got the shrimp and steak nachos and It comes covered in white cheese sauce that is so so good. Highly recommend.

I love this restaurant! The biggest downside is the prices being a tiny smidge high but, for the quality of the food and amount you get, it ends up being worth it. All of their food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, and I’ve always had great service. When the weather is nice their outside patio makes for an enjoyable meal and I’ve even seen them have live music before! As a Troy local it’s nice to have this place in town.

Went there for a Super Bowl gathering and had the best time. The shrimp fajita nachos were delicious. My partner also loved the pollo con queso and said he’ll be ordering that at every Mexican restaurant. Margarita pitchers were great as well. And the queso. We’re from STL and we’ll definitely be customers again when we’re back in that area 😊.

We ordered street tacos. The menu said something like “two corn tortillas with meat of choice” and we assumed it was two tacos. Waitress did not clarify even though we ordered in a way that suggested we thought it was two. It was $15 each for 4 tiny tacos with a small bit of overcooked meat, onion and cilantro. No sides or premium toppings. Sorry, but huge rip off. When I asked about it after seeing the bill the waitress said “oh yeah, that confuses people all the time”.
If it confuses people all the time it might be time to change the menu or at least double-check at ordering.
Great food! Attentive staff. Definitely a cozy spot for Mexican food!
