Been going here for years. Shaved ice is as expensive as ice cream these days, but this spot is kept clean and the kids working here are friendly and do a good job… but the MUSIC! They’re always blaring Jesus radio (99.1), when you just want to have some Hawaiian ice with the family and not feel like you’re in church with worship music played by a bad Christian soft rock band. (I think they must’ve heard hallelujah when they said Honolulu.) And why so loud?! It’s just… awkward. I started calling it Jesus Ice.

We are so happy that Tropical Sno is open again this year. Our family loves going there. We went today, and ordered 3 sno cones. 2 of them only had juice maybe down halfway and it was just white ice. The 3rd one was just right. I am hoping it is a learning curve because we really do enjoy them!
