I stopped across the road for fuel, was hungry && was really tired of McDonald’s (had my 9yr with me) looked up and discovered a diamond in the dirt. Food was great(chi style polish, loaded) cook, waiter, show running lol don’t remember her name she’s also awesome, great personality, friendly and quick. I don’t talk much but she got a convo out of me an it end up bringing up kids and listen to this she had stuffed animals for free and gave my 9yr 2 of them. (He said to tell you thanks next time I see you 😀) we were headed back home to Texas.

The owner of Jessie's is Jessie and she is so accommodating! She will make a combinations of different meals, if you want. Jessie said she makes her food homemade. Gotta support Jessie's Kitchen!

We absolutely loved everything about this place. Food was fantastic and Jessie herself is amazing! Give it a chance. Outside might not look great but once you get inside it’s worth it!

I was on a really long drive for work and I saw this place next to the McDonald’s figured I’d stop local instead of going for a chain. And I’m really really glad I did.

Jessie is super friendly, and that makes all the difference in the world when you been alone on the road for hours.

This is a hole in the wall gem! If you are in the area you really should try it! The burgers were amazing! We stumbled upon it on our way back to Texas and glad we did! We have been looking for a good burger our whole trip and this spot provided just that. Not to mention the fries are hand cut and absolutely delish! Don't skip this place if you see it.

I order a rueben on rye. The sandwich was disgusting and soggy. The meat was like leather. The menu has a totally different price then what I was charged. The menu said $7.00 without fries $9.00 with fries. But I was charged $10.80 for just the sandwich and was told they need to change the prices.But didnt say that while I was ordering. So I got upcharged then went outside to taste the worst sandwich ever. Cook need a hair net

We hit Jesse's up on the way south for Thanksgiving. If I lived around the area, I would come in for the food and just to watch the personalities that come through. It's like being in a comfy sitcom, and it's all entertaining. The food is great, my cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, the bun was toasted nicely, and the veggies were freshly cut, as are the fries, which also were fantastic. Jesse herself was a riot, telling my kids "Get your drinks from the fridge, it's just like at home!" One of them said that she reminded them of the "bar owner that shows up with a shotgun to save the day in a horror movie." If you're headed north or south on 57, skip the franchises and get your dinner here!
