Shimoji Coffee - Espresso Drive Thru

Shimoji Coffee is 5*. That’s all I can really say. Who needs overrated Starbucks when you’ve got a local, small business that deserves the support? It’s a no-brainer.

I always love stopping here on my drives to and from Ohio since it’s conveniently located off I-70. I always get the raspberry tart/danish and I’ve never had a bad cappuccino:)

What a neat little coffee shop! ...and from a shipping container! Very creative. Great coffee, friendly service and great prices!

We were on a trip east along I70 and still for coffee. It's a neat little local place with a drive-through! It's better than a chain. The coffee (latte) was decent. Would visit again. Was a little surprised they didn't have any regular (white or brown) sugar - and seemed almost surprised anyone would want any...

Came by and there was one car in line. The girl taking orders was hanging out the window having a long drawn out conversation with the customer. Goes on to make the drinks. Hands them the drinks then continues the conversation. Like dude. Let's go. I left wasn't able to try anything

It was a good drive thru spot for coffee as we were passing through during our road trip. They also had a pup cup with a dog treat in it, beats starbucks’ pup cup in my opinion! Our dog loved it! Coffee was also delicious, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience today at Shimoji Coffee! Excellent service and suggestions to help us try something new. The red eye with vanilla & amaretto did not disappoint! Thank you, Shimoji Coffee in Greenville, IL!

They are very smiling and friendly. They have a couple of table at front of the store. Also, they make good quality coffee

Adorable little coffee shop with super friendly service and delicious coffee at great prices! Worth the minor detour and a perfect little treat to enjoy while meeting the fire-breathing dragon down the street!

Love shimoji coffee, and usually their scones too, but this was unacceptable to serve to a customer burnt and hard all the way thru.

The barista was super helpful as we were only passing through town so we had no idea where to start on the menu! My husband got a lukewarm caramel mocha and he said it’s one of the best he’s ever had! I already had coffee, so I tried a raspberry lemon shakeup and it was DELICIOUS! Just enough sweet and a hint of sour!

My Husband and I are on our way home from out honeymoon/family Reunion. We are huge coffee people and are stopping at coffee shops along the way. We saw this one on Google and saw the high ratings so we detoured.
When we got there, we ordered a Cookies and Cream Yuki and a Hazelnut Chai. The baristas were super nice and the price was really cheap. However, when we both took a drink, we noticed our drinks were very bland. My drink tasted like milk with a very little amount of spice that passed as Chai. My husband nor I could taste Hazelnut at all in the drink.
The cookies and cream Yuki was also very bland. The only flavor came from the blended cookies in the drink, and even then, it wasn't that flavorful. We were very disappointed.
