I have had good pizza at other Aurelios, particularly the Lagrange location, but the pizza at this Oak Brook Terrace location was very disappointing. Not sure what kind of cheese it was, but definitely NOT mozzarella - salry to the point of inedibility, literally. I tossed the whole thing. At one point this was an eat-in location and was very good. Too bad it changed.

Aurelio's is a Chicago tradition going back forever. We love their tavern style pizzas soooo much. "It's the Sauce" that sets them apart. Their pizza sauce is flavorful, and just ever so slightly sweet. The flavor just lights up your taste buds. A+

I recently visited Aurelio's Pizza in Villa Park and had an outstanding experience. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They even gave my daughter free food while we waited for our takeout pizza because she was hungry. The pizza itself was delicious with a perfect crust and generous toppings.
