I’ve been stopping into this place off and on for 10 years. I love it ! go in and say hi and you’ll feel at home. Great coffee too

Last Thursday after exiting the doctors office nearby I entered this coffee shop to just buy a coffee to go. This is exactly how the conversation went. I asked the guy for a coffee with a little milk and Splenda. Excuse me but I am used to the packet’s not in a glass sugar jar. So I tried to catch him thinking this was regular sugar and he puts the glass container right in my face. He said you see this says Splenda. I have been making coffee for over 30 years. I did not respond even though I have terrible back pain. He then continued and continued to tell me that I was very pushy. Not once but several times. I did not respond even though I wanted to but I did turn around and walk away. I am not from this area, in fact not from this state. I’m sorry when this guy guy says I have been doing this for 30 years. I served my country for 20 years and now I am in the service industry serving and flying customers all over the world. On my worse day, I would never treat or talk to anyone especially a customer like this. I just want fellow visitors to this place to maybe know and think about the values this place projects. I see many seniors visiting this place. But thank god I was bigger than this guy and never responded to him like I wanted to. Would not give this guy the satisfaction.
Hope to maybe someday run into him again

Friendly ,positive atmosphere

This place.is great. Larry is such a great guy. My wife had the Chi Tea Latte. She said it was delicious. I had the regular coffee. It was very good. When we are in this area w again. We will definitely stop here

Larry is the best ever! Everyone feels like a million bucks after they talk to this upbeat and happy guy! So positive and encouraging even in a short interaction like getting a cup o joe! Best ever

We’re from California driving through Illinois to Iowa and we happened to stop by for coffee. Met the owner Larry, he’s such a great man! Great little spot for some delicious coffee and conversation. Oh, you need to stop in at the bakery next door and grab a little almond square!!!

Love how cozy and eclectic this place was. Also, a nice surprise was that the owner Larry (very personable guy & and music lover) let me try out one of the acoustic guitars and play a little while I enjoyed my chai tea. Will visit again and hopefully catch open mic sometime!

Profiling at its best. Shame on management who refused serve young men who didn’t fit the profile. Shame on you to not support local entrepreneurs! The worst part was you laughing and cursing out young people when your shop was already empty. Isn’t a coffee shop to sell their products you flat out refused them even that, what a joke!

based on reviews, we expected it to be a more friendly experience, but it ended up being not a very welcoming space. as we walked in, my siblings and i got a lot of stares and felt very out of place. the coffee wasn’t too great as well, i wouldn’t recommend.

Super cute place and great coffee! The gentleman who helped me was very kind and informative. Would have loved to have a coffee shop like this in the area when I was young. Keep up the awesome work!!
