After 30 years..is good to know this place is still here! Family own, good to see his son took over the business, and Gyros are still as good as I remember! Keep up tradition

But this place is not halal place .
Food was very good, generous portions, good quality, friendly service. The pricing was outrageous for what it was though. Can’t justify spending almost 50 dollars for 2 gyros, splitting a fry and two small drinks.

This place has been terrific for over 50 years, best around. Great food, and great ownership has kept it on the top of my list for many years. Excellent fresh fries, and Gyro on the spit fantastic as always.

Great prices for amazing portions and QUALITY food. We drive from Sugar Grove to come here, for years, for the best Gyro around. Support local, family owned businesses, especially this favorite gem! I’ll be heading in for lunch soon, always the best

I was in the area and gave this place a try based on its reviews. The facilities are just a bit dated and tired but places like this sometimes are a hidden gem. I will say the gyro was a nice size with lots of meat and sauce but they don't give you much veg. The fries were cooked perfectly and hot but they needed salt and pepper. Sadly the prices here are just too high. Looking at Google photos they used to have very reasonable prices but now it's $20 for a gyro and fries, which is very high for the area and the competition is just as good for dramatically less.
Also minus a star for the owner's attitude on responses which tell me improvement isn't a concern here.

Ridiculous prices for what you get. 1 tomato slice on a 10.00 sandwich. Very disappointed. Too many other quality restaurants to go back.
Too expensive,

One of the best Gyros I’ve ever eaten. Delicious food!
I really love this place. I have been coming here for decades. The food is always great & excellent quality. My favorite item is the pork souvlaki plate. I always swap out the raw onions for grilled onions. The meat is delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked & great quality pork tenderloin. A pile of freshly cut fries & their sauce is the best round. Again - all made in house.
Can you get cheaper fast casual Greek food.....sure. But like they say....you get what you pay for! This place is worth every penny.
Always great, friendly service by the family that owns this establishment.

I stopped in for gyros, 15 minutes before closing. ( big mistake) not happy guy begrudgingly took my order ( gave me a very bad vibe) I asked for an order of fries because gyros without fries Is pure sadness. Guy seemed to cheer up. Got my order went home, no fries...got me. Never going back.

Jr Gyro sandwich, fries, sm soda SPECIAL = $17.99 + 1 tablespoon extra sauce (a tiny tub) = $1.90.
Misers, they are. Prepare to be disappointed. No tomatoes and not enough sauce or onions for me. I brought it home to eat. I added my own tomatoes and onions and used up the whole tiny extra sauce they sold me. Without extra sauce, the sandwich will be hard to digest because it's a little dry. The amount of meat was barely enough. The food and drink was truly quality food, but it's a slap in the face when they don't put tomatoes and not enough sauce on the sandwich! For $19.89 + sales tax, I would think that I would feel like they appreciate my business. Regular size gyro sandwich with no tomatoes and not enough sauce is $12.
