I hate that this place is so good. Seriously. I’ve never liked doughnuts, but theirs are so good. And the coffee cakes? The best I’ve ever had. I live close by, so when I crave something, it’s hard to just pick one thing and I end out getting a ton for my family and all our relatives. Warning - if you get one of their coffee cakes, just know that it will go fast. Your family will eat it very quickly. You may want to grab two.

Rude & inappropriate comments made by workers in regards to the LGBTQ community. Would not recommend.

Packzis were just like the ones from Chicago Polish bakeries 50-60years ago. Forgot it was packzi day and wonderful neighbor picked some up for us. Lucky us!

My neighbor brought me packzis yesterday and they are the best I've had in years. I grew up in a Polish neighborhood in Chicago. These were just like from the Polish bakeries 60 yrs ago. This is the place for packzis.

Old-fashioned neighborhood bakery. Shelf that rings the upper reaches of the bakery is lined with cookie jars. Saturday mornings, the line stretches to the door as customers come in for donuts and coffee cakes.Kuppie's is also generous with community, donating product to help either fundraising.

After a recommendation from the coffee shop owner next door, my boyfriend and I came here to grab some pastries. The owner next door recommended the “almond square thingy” (someone please tell me what this is, it was AWESOME), and we also ordered a huge chocolate donut with sprinkles — the fluffiest donut ever which had no right being as tasty as it was — and a double chocolate donut. The customers in there were clearly regulars and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Plus, for all we got, our total was under $5! WOW. This place rocks and I cannot wait to come back…over and over and over again.
