Wow! Absolutely great tasting food! Had a steak burrito lunch special today and i gotta admit this is the best steak burrito I've ever had, especially compared to the one I had 2 days ago at another authentic Mexican restaurant. Steak was high quality meat (no fat or grease), refried beans were awesome, and the rice was soft and fluffy. Super friendly customer service. Thanks, Mark (Mijo) for a great first experience! Will be back and bringing my coworkers.
We went for the first time yesterday. To be honest we had more of a snack than a meal, because we were heading out for a long bike ride and did not want to get too full. But it was DELICIOUS, and we will be back. Husband had a ground beef tostada, I had the Barbacoa Gordita (too big to even finish), and we split a small cheese quesadilla appetizer. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Gordita was truly amazing. Looking forward to going back and trying a dinner with rice and beans. The owner is very conversational and checked on us multiple times. Just an all-around good guy!!We wish this place nothing but continued success. They opened just a few months before Covid hit, and have had some struggles as a result. So happy they have made it through, while many small mom and pops have closed their doors. Please give it a try - you will not be disappointed!!! Happy to have a go-to for authentic Mexican cuisine so close!!
I've been here multiple times now and every time the burritos are so delicious. During a rush it can take some time but for a small restaurant they do their best to keep up and trust me, the wait is worth it! I would recommend calling ahead for your order if it's during a normal busy time to get a good timeframe. You won't be disappointed!
Expensive!!!This place is a joke!!! I ordered six steak tacos with cheese sour cream onions and cilantro, no sides. Why my order came to the total of $32. Seriously!! If you didn't want my black a$$ in your restaurant just say that of course I left. He charged me for the cheese...per taco. Wow!
Super friendly service, great food, very accommodating. The guacamole is one of the best I’ve had
I love a good al pastor taco. Mijos is great! So flavorful, cooked perfectly, presented artfully, and generous! Ate in the restaurant - so friendly. Mijos is easy to pass by, but do yourself a favor and stop in. Their food is above the average taco/burrito joint.
stopped in Mijo's tacos to grab a bite and do some work.I thought this was just an average taco place.I was wrong.I ordered a taco plate (pastor)Visually, it was beautiful! The pastor tacos were out of this world.Cooked perfectly. Not dried out like many places. The rice & beans .....also perfect. This place is a absolute must try! I will definitely be coming back with the family
Wow! We chose this place over others because everyone said how good they food is...and they were right!Food made with love and genuine desire to please customers. But it's the family working here that makes this place special!Father and son were super friendly, genuine, and made us feel happy to be there with them.Authentic recipesFamily atmosphereFairly pricedWhy wouldn't you try it?!
So delicious! I had tacos and rice and my boyfriend had a chicken burrito. Good portion sizes and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!! Try the chips and salsa - so good!
Fantastic service and food. Chicken tacos - they're all white meat. They don't advertise that! SUPER yummy. Guacamole is very good as well. Great prices! Thank you for a yummy meal Mijo's!

This review has nothing to do with this restaurant’s food, which we’ve had hit or miss experiences with. When it’s good it’s good, when it’s not, it’s still better than fast food. That said, you can expect inconsistencies. This is a business I can’t support any more though. Tonight I had an unacceptable experience that’s worth sharing.I went in and ordered nachos. I was then about to order ten tacos - I got confused by the menu, asking about what I thought used to be on there and then couldn’t find something. The employee was unhappy explaining it to me, but I thanked him and showed him what confused me. I started by ordering two pork tacos. He asked if I wanted onions and cilantro - I declined. He asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato - I declined. Then he asked “cheese?” I agreed and then asked if there was a charge. He said “yes - 85 cents per taco.”My gut reaction was to say “wow, that’s crazy. 85 cents per taco for a small sprinkle of cheese.” He became reasonably defensive and said “man, we’re a small business - we need these costs to stay afloat.” I wasn’t disagreeing and said, “I get it but it’s still crazy.” My voice wasn’t raised or confrontational, my demeanor not angry in any way. He then unreasonably said, “I’m sorry man, I’m not going to take your order. I’m sorry - have a great night” and he walked away from the register.I said “okay” and left. I never said I wouldn’t order the cheese or the tacos … or the nachos. But because I expressed shock at the price for something, they chose to not take my order. Ultimately their decision to not take my order because they’re a small business and every penny counts, cost them my business for the evening (which likely would have been more than $60) and all my future business. We’ve ordered from them many times and absolutely will not again.Things are hard now. Costs are high, remaining in business is hard. I get it and sympathize, but being asked to leave for sharing an opinion when I was even willing to pay is unacceptable. Had I been belligerent or rude, maybe I could understand, but the moment he said he wouldn’t take my order, I knew they weren’t worth supporting. Some small businesses don’t survive because they’re a bad business - that, Google review readers, is Mijo’s Tacos. Support at your own risk of offensive treatment.
My daughter and I visited this past Wednesday 4-20-22. The service was wonderful. The host/cashier was sooo friendly and engaging. We will definitely be back!!
Some of best cleanest Mexican food I’ve ever had! I’ve came over 20 times and it always tastes as good as the first! Honestly if you’re not eating here you are sleeping!!!!
I went to this place yesterday I ordered a taco of carne azada steak and a torta with steak the foods was very good the carne azada was very delicious and the guacamole salsa and hot sauce was good I recommend this place is very good I will go again the tacos are good great place and very good customer service
I love supporting local and I love Mijos! The food is always so good and the service is always fast and friendly. The prices are no worse than say chipotle and you get authentic Mexican food for the price. Lovely little place. Definitely recommend.
