I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned.
The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit.
Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back. Mortadeli is a must-visit!

I've been wanting to try Mortadeli since they opened. I kept hearing nothing but good things, so I finally made it in today and was not disappointed. The food was amazing. I wanted to try it all, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad.
My grandmother made some mean meatballs, so my standards are pretty high - Mortadeli definitely delivered! Delicious. The pasta salad was also great.
They were pretty busy however we did not go unnoticed. I didn't feel like "just another customer". The staff went above and beyond, and their kindness really felt genuine.
Very nice atmosphere, clean, laid back, extremely welcoming. It was a very nice afternoon, great company, great food... we'll be back for sure. It really does give you that family feeling. Excited to see what they do next. Highly recommend.

From the moment I walked in with my friends we were greeted by the owner Joe. Despite putting together a separate order of delicious sandwiches he kept up with telling us about his menu and offered his recommendations. After sitting down we found that the bread and meat quality was perfect. You can easily tell this place was built on hard work and the sandwiches made with love. I will be back.

Love this place!! Been here a handful of times now and the food is always amazing! It might take a few minutes longer than other places to get your food made but the wait is totally worth it! The staff has always been super friendly and one of the reasons we keep going back!

This place is so good, it put my wife into labor! She was 39 weeks and very ready to have the baby so she went down to get a sandwich (Carb-Dashian) with added hot peppers. 45 minutes later, we were in the car headed to the Elmhurst Hospital!
We are so happy Mortadeli opened so close to our house. Every meal we've had there has been top notch and the "It's a Me, Mario" might be the best sandwich I have every had. The staff is very friendly and look forward to many sandwiches in the future!

Just had the It’s Me Mario and a slice of sausage pizza. Probably one on the most delicious sandwiches ive had. Bread was perfect and meat was sliced nice and thin. The pistachio cream and balsamic glaze were incredible together. The pizza was delicious as well homemade dough perfectly browned. So good.
